Went for lunch and was the only two in dining room. Took 10 mins to get food. Fast food really isnt fast anymore. Also two combos with one milkshake cost $28 Too long a wait and too expensive to do too often.

Belly up to the counter and enjoy the sights sounds and smells of grilling steak burgers. Simple pleasures are the best. Those thin crispy fries served piping hot and salted to perfection. Iced drinks to wash it down. The staff is always friendly and welcoming. Who can want for more. When it’s right it’s right.

First time at a steak and shake and it didn’t disappoint! The place was EXTREMELY clean – especially for a fast food restaurant! I had western bbq burger and my wife had a garlic steak burger. Both were tasty but the garlic one was exceptional. For “fast food” we would totally go there again!

This is not Steak n Shake.
I was very excited about this place while it was being built since Steak n Shake is one of my favorite burger places.
I just had my first visit and was sorely disappointed that this is just Steak n Shake in name only.
This isn’t a sit down experience but your typical order at the counter fast food place and to make it worse the menu is noticeably smaller than a real Steak n Shake. They don’t have the Garlic Double Steak burger!!!
They don’t have seasoning or condiments at the tables too and when you ask for it they’re presented to you in tiny cups.
Staff was nice enough but the woman at the counter (Betty M according to our receipt) was noticeably impatient and didn’t make me feel welcome.
The saving grace is the food since it’s still the same Steak n Shake food, but you wait forever like the real Steak n Shake but now without the comfort of a booth and nice server.
Very disappointed in this place. What a wasted opportunity.

We knew the second we walked up to the Steak-n-Shake, something was different. Inside packed full of people sitting in all the chairs with nothing in their hands or on the tables. There was also a line of folks ordering their meals. Waited 20 minutes and ordered our food. The cashier said the machine only took cash – so luckily, I had enough ca$h. We sat down and talked, played games and waited for about 30 minutes. Someone came out of the kitchen, looking for us! Our milkshakes were ready, and we enjoyed them. Then another 20 minutes went by, and we got the rest of our food. The burgers were delicious. I am not sure if it was because we were hungry or it the cook was amazing. Most of the people in the restaurant looked very upset, and some demanded refunds and left. We had a good long time together, and we’re glad to finish supper finally. We may wait a few months and try again. It was apparent the manager did not know what to do. They had around 15 high school kids back there waiting for something to do. They were running out of supplies too. Seemed strange, no doubt.

They have closed all of our stores at home. It was great to find one. The food was fresh and hot. I asked for extra crispy fries and they were more than happy to fix them. The shakes were as good as we remembered. And it was happy hour on the shakes!!!

Manager was really rude about missing items. No receipt came out of the kiosk and he demanded a receipt for the two cheese sauces. He still only gave us one of them. I normally wouldn’t care, but I paid for them. I’m emailing their customer service.

Just a great fresh hamburger that can be customized maybe different ways. French fries are advertised to be fine with beef tallow and are very good. I didn’t prefer the thinner fries that they have, but flavor wise they are great. Service at this location was very friendly and accommodating.
