Hands down this has to be one of the best places in Baton Rouge for breakfast! I love the casualness of this place. You place your order, get a number and find a seat. We came early so tables were available but this place gets busy quickly.

I went to a breakfast restaurant recently and the service was so friendly! The food was great, and I especially enjoyed their grits which were really creamy. Prices were really affordable, too, so if you’re looking for a good breakfast spot that won’t break the bank, this is the place. There was a nice gentleman I believe his name was “Hakeem” who noticed that I had a very large to-go order and a cup of coffee and he offered to bring my items to my car. That type of service is what I enjoyed about visiting new places and trying new food I would definitely be back.

This was a real treat. Last minute decision to go here. One big reason was because they were open early. I’m a vegan and I was able to order a filling breakfast. My sis had the quinoa with fruit and homemade granola. She said the grits were nice and creamy like our grandfather’s. Owner was very pleasant and brought us our food. Food was reasonable priced. Definitely will return. Thanks!

From the food to the service, everything is exceptional. Don’t bother seasoning your grits because they are already plenty seasoned on the first bite. The cinnamon roll is warm and fluffy and the cream cheese frosting is perfect. The bacon is salty, crispy and smoky. Even the omelet was fantastic with just sausage peppers and green onions. This food is delectable. My first meal and my first time visiting Baton Rouge did not disappoint.

I eat here often. They are so friendly and make sure you get what you ordered. They have the best grits I have ever tasted, and I was not a grits eater! They have turkey bacon, great iced tea, and hot coffee, which is self- serve (so no waiting when you want more)!

We’ve been to this restaurant a few times now, and it’s great. You have to know what you’re getting though, so tame your expectations. This is more of a breakfast spot, less of a brunch spot. They’ve got eggs, bacon pancakes, and coffee. You order at a counter and then go sit down and they bring you your food. No frills. But what they do, they do very well. Eggs are cooked perfectly, grits are salty and creamy, coffee is strong. The only issue is sometimes the wait is long, but that’s not their fault because they move people in and out quickly. Do yourself a favor and check it out!
