The food was terrible. Waited over an hour and it wasn’t even fresh or hot. The hamburger was disgusting tasted rotten like someone took it out trash and heated it up. Messed the order up despite it being plain with onions and cheese.
The fries were only good thing but the extra charge for the beef tallow and wait time not worth it.
Your better off going to Culver’s down the street.
The employees were nice but they couldn’t cook anything. Won’t go back again. Used come all the time before COVID but they really cut employees no staff, only distopian service kiosks and lights and dirty tables. I miss old service and food. No table service, yet they ask for tip on machine.

I had hair in my burger. Drove back that’s about 10 minutes. We’re at 20 minutes now. Complained about it. No one seemed to care. They refunded me for just a one burger and nothing else to try to make up for it. Then got accused for placing the hair in the burger. Just felt like Customer Service was pretty crappy. Didn’t wanna do anything to make it right didn’t seem to care. I drive a diesel pick up truck spent 40 minutes driving. After arguing going back-and-forth, the best they could do is said come back after 5 PM. Not spending any more money on diesel driving back to this place. It’s been a good minute since I’ve been to steak ‘n Shake, but don’t think I’ll be ever be going back. At the end, my lunch took more than an hour customer Service was just so bad. I really do understand mistakes and things happen. That’s why I went back but didn’t seem anyone cared. Last year my burger came out cold when I was in Culver’s and I drove home called Culver’s and said that my burger was cold and normally doesn’t get cold by the time I drive home super apologetic asked for my address sent me a bunch of things to go back and make up for it.

Hmm first one star review lets see. Food took 20 mins to get out and noone else was in the lobby maybe drive thru slammed. Grilled cheese not melted like a cheese sandwitch it was not edible. We had to ask for our shake after we were done eating that looked good. The table behind us was messy like it could be found in a walking dead universe with tons of napkins just chilling. This place has gone significantly downhill id consider mcdonalds or culvers youll have a better meal. You do have access to bathrooms and air conditioning and seats (which you can find anywhere else)

This is the Only fast food place in the entire area that does not make me bloated and feel like crap. Burgers are super good fries are made in waygu beef tallow, and the shakes!!! Oh the shakes are SO GOOD!!! And if you go into the restaurant, they serve them in a Glass! Great food, Great service, Good, Clean restaurant and probably one of the cheaper places to go. Best Value for sure. Good Job Steak n Shake

I’m seriously impressed by what happened today but I’m not a patient person. Only 2 workers who were and did their very best (bonus to the man who literally walked in and applied and was hired on the spot) but waiting one hour for 3 milkshakes wasn’t fun but they have the best milkshakes ever yummy
I highly praise the 2 workers for not having breakdowns with dealing with that mess.
Hire more people and we’ll be back.

I ordered the garlic burger and was not impressed. It was too salty, and didn’t care for the shoe string fries. However the shake was delicious. We waited a while for our order, but the dinning room servicer was great.

Order through the kiosk, ugh….This used to be the place to go for burgers. Just look at the pitiful patties in my picture of the burger. So thin and over cooked. At least the fries are still good. Our shakes were good too.

Got a darn good burger with fries. Everything was cooked to order with fresh meat. The fries were so hot I had to wait for them to cool a little before i could eat them. The star of the meal at least for me was the shake. The price was only about a dollar more than a typical fast food restaurant but was waaaay better. But this is NOT fast food. Expect about 10 or so minutes for your food to be ready.

I didn’t have an option to leave less than one star. I waited an hour and a half for 2 burgers and 2 fries with shakes and still had to leave without anything. I paid almost $40.00 and left with nothing. The people behind the counter would not even come to refund my money but continued taking orders when they clearly could not fill what orders they already had. What an awful experience. NEVER GOING BACK! Gonna miss them cheese fries!
