Walked in and used the self service kiosk to order. Did not have any contact with anyone. When shakes were ready, they called us to the counter. For soft drinks, cups are self service, but you need to scan your drinks receipt to get machine to work. Found this very annoying and was scanning order receipt, but not drink receipt. Food was delivered to table which which was a nice surprise. When we were done, our table was cleared as well. All in all, decent food for a fast food restaurant. Service was 4 stars not because of employees who were helpful, but for fact we used a kiosk, and had to figure out drink fountain.

”What a wonderful place I discovered yesterday! The staff was incredibly attentive and welcoming. The burger was absolutely delicious, the fries were the perfect side, and as for the milkshake… I don’t even have the words to explain how amazing it was! What I loved most was how incredibly clean and organized everything was. Definitely a new favorite spot. 10/10!”

I haven’t been in a Steak n shake in years. I went today for a quick bit, all I can say is WOW. The service was better than I have received at any restaurant. Everyone had a smile on their faces, ofter to help place order, and even brought my food to my table with a smile. The place was clean and inviting. I will definitely come back again just base on the friendly staff alone. It is nice to go somewhere where people are happy you stop in to see them.

We went to this Steak n’ Shake & it was very quiet, clean, we only saw two workers in the kitchen and one in the dining area, his name was Charlie. He was very attentive to all customers coming in and dining. Kept the entire dining area super clean. Was on top of everything, asking if anyone needed any assistance, he’d come by & pick up finished baskets of food & throw them out for the patrons. We spoke and thanked him for his excellent customer service. He knew we’d just come from church and we conversed a bit thanking him again for his spirit of servant hood. The Word of God says to speak life… We just wanted to give praise to a great worker.

Service off Colonial Blvd was absolutely horrible. After I ordered my butter burger, the cook came out and called my name and he handed me a burger with no fries. I said to him my burger comes with fries and he argued with me that it didn’t so I finally said whatever and took the burger and set down. I took 2 bites and realized this was not what I ordered and glancing at my receipt. I brought it to the managers attention and he said this is not right and took my receipt to another manager. In the mean time, the cook that argued with me over the fries came to my table and said he had given me the wrong order and took it and brought me my order that obviously had set during all this time that was cold. I will never go back there again. It was a horrible experience.

Ohh my goodness if you haven’t eaten at steak and shake lately, I have never seen anything like it… Well, I have actually, but you have to drive down old country Roads and find little storage buildings with kitchens to get anything close to what these folks are thrown at you for less money than mcdonald’s…..wow…. I don’t know if this can be beat really. For the price speed and overwhelming product..

My first time at a Steak n Shake, sort of like a 5 Guys meets Johnny Rockets feel. Burger and fries were amazing. Don’t understand why the soda fountain is secured and can’t dispense soda without scanning your receipt. Never saw that before. Overall a good hamburger. Didn’t try the milk shake which they are supposed to be famous for.

Staff relies on computer systems to take care of customers when steak n shake app doesn’t work, impossible to get help from any of the 5 employees standing behind the counter although there is only one table inside & no one in the drive through. No one greets you or offers assistance & when you tell the cook you need help, he will go get the manager but no one will ever actually come out. Waste of time
