Food was great, only hang up was they forgot to make the shakes. Had to wait on those but not a huge issue since we were dining in. Gabe the kids a extra few minutes to eat theire actual food instead of chugging back the shake. Since covid the inside has felt weird, without servers but I guess everything is just streamlined. Overall we can’t complain, food was really good. The new fries are great. Kids ate everything with no issue. This particular one has come along way and we will definitely be back.

The food was fresh. My sprite was not good. It tasted like it was out of soda syrup. I had to have it replaced. I tried to give it back but they refused to take it leaving me with a cup full of something I wouldn’t have given my dog to drink. Very inconvenient for me. The server was very friendly and upbeat. The food was very fresh and delicious! I had the classic double steak burger combo. My fries were great not cold or too salty. My burger could have been cooked slightly longer but still tasted good.

Went there today to eat for lunch. I’m not a fan of those tablets and kind of messed up my order. One of the employees Michelle was so very kind to my friend and myself. Michelle apparently likes her job very much and was very good at it!!

Food is very good prices are creaping up but its worth the money. They need a little updating inside but I’m sure they are just trying to keep it simple. 1/2 price shakes are the best only $2.50 on weekdays from 2-4pm can’t beat that. The staff is super nice but in the drive thru sometimes they forget your sauces which makes it inconvenient having to run back in to get those. But overall it’s yummy and decent price.

Lovely experience. Burgers were juicy, cheese fries were cheesy, soda machine was calibrated correctly. A staff member was wiping down tables and asked how everything was, very friendly staff, they even told me about the promo on the receipt. This location is also EXCEPTIONALLY clean. I’ve never seen any fast food restaurant this clean. Definitely recommend.

This is the best Steak ‘n Shake in Lakeland. Clean, good service, impeccable bathrooms. I missed the waitress, the whole experience of eating out. Now, you struggle with a screen to find your favor meal, you picked up your food, take to the garbage when you finished, and they ask you for tip.
For the amount of money and food you get I rather spend that amount on ‘Culver’. $31.80 for two people, $3.90 for tip ’cause I like to tip, but Steak’n Shake it’s not the same, the chili fries were good but my Frisco Melt wasn’t the same. The burger meat doesn’t have the buttery taste as before.

My family stopped to get a few shakes & 3 orders of fries for a snack. It was 2pm. We ordered at 2:04. The shakes came out in a few minutes. At 2:15, still no fries. Our food came at 2:21, nearly 20 minutes later for 3 orders of fries! They said they were short staffed but people who ordered after us, got full meals, with fries before us.

Food always comes out amazing and fresh, but the real star is the manager, Ava. I came in with my young child and she made sure I didn’t have to leave my seat for my food or shakes, she checked on us. It was so kind and unexpected. She made it go from a good experience to a great one.

They got the order wrong and we still paid full price. After asking and confirming what the order was and the price the order was still wrong! It wasn’t even busy! Not recommended… unless you want to go in and order so you can physically visualize in front of the employees!
