Unfortunately I think I’m done with this location. I’ve had different issues with them over the years, but keep coming back because it’s the closest one to my house. I went the other day to get a shake for happy hour and they gave me the wrong one. No big deal. My boyfriend drove back to the store and asked if they could remake the shake for the correct flavor. Instead of remaking the shake they simply added M&Ms to the Nutella shake I didn’t want. I know it was the same shake because the original cup they gave me had some black grease looking stain on it and the cup they gave us back had the same black dirty mark. For me, the worst part is I wrote in to the store about the incident because ALL I WANT IS THE M&M SHAKE THAT I PAID FOR. It’s been over a week and they have not contacted me about the issue. I worked in the food industry for 10 years. I cannot fathom not only refusing to remake a shake, but not responding to and correcting the issue. Who loses a customer over such an easy fix.

Beautiful building love the oldie murals! The steak burger with cheese was so tasty and of course the onion rings best by far I’ve ever had! French fries with ketchup Al’s good and of course coke is always good. Drive thru fast friendly and got our order correct with napkins and ketchup thank you Steak n Shake highly recommend and will definitely be back!!

Management was extremely rude and disrespectful to other employees. Manager (I think) in an orange shirt was complaining and yelling about making milkshakes while making my milkshake in front of me. Staff seemed extremely annoyed with her and there were very few customers so her voice was heard across the restaurant. Burger and fries were cold and gross, other than that the milkshake was fine. My friend who had ordered ahead around the same time as me and was left waiting for his food for almost 10 minutes after I got mine. Space was clean and other than the yelling gossiping manager and bad burger the experience was fine.

We ordered online and went to pick up our order. The door was locked, so we had to wait in the line for 35 minutes. Wheni got to the window the food was cold, they didn’t have any cheese sauce for my wife…. we might as well just ordered at the drive thru. Do not order online and expect a correct order or hot!!!!! Never again!!!

This place has gone down hill. The food doesn’t taste good anymore and the building is gross. Even the window at the drive thru hasn’t been cleaned it’s greasy and it smells horrible in there.

Steak n Shake has prided themselves on cooking your food fresh when you order. We figured it would be a good option when my husband and I needed something quick. Waited over 20 minutes in the drive through and the restaurant was empty so we at least thought our food would be hot. Nope. Fries were cold, not even remotely warm. Burgers were warm but barely. Definitely not hot. Guess they’ve gone down hill like every other place of service. Staff was pleasant at the window but we won’t be going back anytime soon.

I have never eaten at the Steak-n-Shake before and was prodded to do so by friends! They said it was like Culver’s!! It’s nothing like Culver’s!! Why 1 star? Upon arrival I let the drive thru employee this was my first time ordering and it may take me a bit. The service was excellent and she did a great job guiding me through the large order. It was an order for 4 that was going to include shakes. That’s said, she informed me the shake machine was broken (truth be told the shake was 80% of the reason for my acquiescence). We continued on and I ordered the Frisco Melt and Fries; a Single Bacon Steak burger; a plain Steak burger; and an original Double Steak burger, with onion rings. Bottom-line the food was terrible. It was flavorless; smashed; and even cold!! I was told their onion rings were excellent; they were not! I’d recommend going somewhere else if you want quality!!
