We’ve been to S&S a few times throughout our travels. But by far, this one had the friendliest staff. I’m mad I didn’t catch the name of the gal that helped us with our order. We prefer zero salt on our French fries and burgers. She went above and beyond to make sure our order was right. She told us she’s been working there for 23 years!! Kudos to her!! (Older gal. I come here all the time after working at the mall. It’s convenient, quick & usually really consistent. Every once in a while, you can bet something will go astray. Even though I mentioned how I didn’t want the milkshake, since it was made after I was more than halfway through my meal, they still made it. I want my milkshake WITH my burger & fries, not after, hence the name…steak’n’shake! To top it off, the damn thing is soupy, like they just wanted to get me back for complaining. I get it. I work retail, so 8 know how people can be, but I also know how to let it go & be consistent with my customer service skills.

I came in today with my family. My family got their food, mine was accidentally forgotten. There was a wonderful young lady (Nikki) who grabbed my food for me. She also offered my kids free milkshakes. She was super friendly and kind. Don’t get service like this anymore. I’m coming back just for her!

I’m sad how much this restaurant has changed. There is no customer service! You order on a kiosk, you are called to pick up your own food, and then you clear your own table! No interaction with a waitress. The manager kind of asked how we were doing on her way to another table. The food is still delicious, but now pay double what we used to. It is sad.
