Stale fries, burger was ok. The frisco melt was burnt. Dr Pepper tastes flat. It wouldn’t surprise me if they close soon. I wouldn’t feed this crap to my dog. It would be a great location for cookout.

Every once in a while, I like to treat myself to a hamburger.. this is the burger you get for $7 at Steak and Shake Douglasville, GA.. I went through the drive-thru Friday afternoon 10/17/25. By the time I opened and bit into my burger I was in rush hour traffic. I couldn’t eat that burger nor could I have taken it back. I called the restaurant just to let them know what they are serving should NEVER make it to the front of the restaurant!! Of course I can’t get anyone on the phone, when calling a recording comes on continuously…Unbelievable!! If this is the norm for this location, management and the cook should be switched out and FORCED to eat 50 of the same burger sold to me. This burger looks NOTHING like burger advertised on t.v.

This place has gone to HELL! The floor was dirty, tables dirty, all windows looked like they haven’t been washed in months, grimy!! I young lady working register and serving tables and not very excited about doing either! She wasn’t wearing any type of uniform, nor were 2 guys we say working the back…no one looked professional! We met an elder couple that ordered after we got our food and she literally had to ask for cleaner to clean their table! I went over and introduced myself, letting her know we were experiencing the same type of non-service! She mentioned she and her husband were in town from Alabama and really wanted Steak n Shake! I told her we had been to this location for about a year and sadly the condition was very similar! She explained the Steak n Shake in their neighborhood had closed down! I was so apologetic to them and told them we were avid customers of Steak n Shake for many years and we also are very disappointed in their condition! Well, we met a nice couple, exchanged Holiday cheers and went are ways! The photos don’t really give a clear pic of how filthy, the place was! As bad as it was, we still ordered food, ate and left! But that just attest to the desparation of people wanting to experience what Steak n Shake WAS!

We visited the Douglasville Steak ‘n Shake on February 20 at 7:45 PM, hoping for a quick family meal before the 8:00 PM dining room closure. However, we were flatly denied service for dine-in and told we could only order to-go well you are not supposed to refuse only when the dining room is closed. While we understand closing procedures, the staff’s refusal to accommodate us during posted hours was highly disappointing.
More concerning than the service was the appalling state of the facility. The exterior windows and door handles were covered in grime, and the interior lighting was dim and uninviting. The restroom was in a deplorable and unsanitary condition: it was nearly pitch black with no working lights except at the mirror, and used toilet paper and paper towels were strewn across the floor alongside unflushed toilets.
Due to these disgusting conditions, we chose to leave immediately without ordering and went to Moe’s Southwest Grill on Douglas Blvd, which was significantly cleaner and more professional. Based on this experience, I strongly recommend avoiding this disgusting place location and visiting the Steak ‘n Shake in Carrollton instead, as they maintain much higher standards for both cleanliness and customer service.” This Douglasville location never or doesn’t seem to care about customers being safe and comfortable and healthy and care for the property and place . I am giving this place – 1 stars. I hope disgusting place either closes down or something is done about it and make clean and nice like Carrollton GA

Service was splendid. Thats because they KNOW the food sucks. Our $185 steak TOTALLY lacked seasoning/flavor. Mac and cheese had more water than anything,
brussells sprouts and drinks were good but thats about it. Overpriced beef and sides. Not worth the money. Will we go back HECK NO. $300 no live entertainment and horrible food.

Please do not waste your time, money, stomach, or arteries by patronizing this establishment. Ours was a two-person order and both were absolutely soaked in grease and inedible. So disgusting, and you just know that the person preparing those meals doesn’t eat that trash, why would they cook it that way for paying customers. See photos which really do not do the level of grease justice.

DONT WATE YOUR TIME OR MONEY HERE! I’d give it a zero! Drive through for a quick lunch after kids swimming lesson. The food was cold, missing fries, cheese fries were a fraction of the regular size you would get inside and looked as though they were thrown in the container. Then the LARGE fries as you can see were not even filled to half way …….. bloody pointless ! Service/fast food in Douglasville is a darn joke !

The service and urgency was at a ZERO on 11.21.25 the shake machine was down and noone said anythingnto all of us making orders until they made the order. Then didn’t offer anything as compensation. Was told I had to call corporate for a refund. J.J. the manager was the pits as well. The girl with no uniform on with wet and curly hair was back there making food WITH NO NET ON!! They were short staffed and many people picking up orders had to figure it out among themselves. They probably need to shut down

I went through the drive thru and was greeted by a rude employee who didn’t acknowledge me being at the window for several minutes and when I spoke by saying “hello” he responded with an attitude and then said “I was doing something!” That type of customer service is unacceptable and please train your employees to know how to greet customers at all times when it’s busy and slow. This type of service shows how much you care and I will not ever spend my money at this facility again!
