The prime rib is absolutely AMAZING — hands down the right thing to order when you go there. It’s cooked perfectly, incredibly soft, and melts in your mouth. The seasoning is spot on , flavorful without overpowering the natural taste of the beef.
And if you’re really hungry, go for the cowboy cut ! The portion is huge and worth every dollar. You definitely won’t leave hungry.
Table positioning could be better , little tight squeeze, but understandable for the popularity of the place and their good food , place was full.
If you’re looking for high-quality steak, generous portions, and a great dining experience, Steak House St Charles is the place to be. I’ll definitely be going back

Our first experience at Steakhouse St-Charles. Atmosphere is very nice. Not too loud, great music at a decent volume… you can hear it but still hear each other talk. Our server was great. Very pleasant. Very attentive. Switched from French to English to accommodate everyone. The food was excellent. We had the soup of the day, calamari, rib steak, filet mignon, cheeseburger. Every dish was fantastic. On a side note the fries are delicious. For dessert we tried the chocolate lava cake with ice cream and carrot cake. Probably the best carrot cake I have ever had. Overall we had a wonderful experience and look forward to returning.

The best steakhouse on the north shore. I booked their private room for my engagement ceremony, and they had the best team to make my day. Their manager, owner, servers and chef are great and talented people. They accommodated for me and my guests in all kinds of way. Whether it was for the food, privacy, or accessibility. Thank you to all of St Charles team. I cannot recommend this place enough for special occasions or regular dinners.

First time there. Food was very good, service was fun and friendly and the atmosphere (@5:30!) was quite noisy and lively with a ”joie de vivre”. My filet was delicious, my husband found his prime rib portion on the small side but tasty. The fries were great, the Caesar salad ok. The crème brûlée was excellent. The restaurant was packed with a lineup waiting for the second seating. We travelled from Mtl and would do it again!

From the moment you walk in you know the establishment is special. It has character, history, and a charming decor that says 5 stars!! The food is amazing right down to the details like flavorful sauce made to your preferences with reduction from the filet mignon that was flamed table side! to a combination of vegetables that explode with balanced flavor.

Food was not the quality you pay for unfortunately. Steaks were stringy very veiny too much fat barely had any meat. Service wasn’t so bad but they didn’t even ask us if we want a dessert.. Or anything else for that matter.
We were there with our 10-year-old and they decided to put us in a booth right next to the bar where it was extremely loud. Definitely not a spot/seat for a family. We had made a reservation.. and I had added that it was my husband’s bday, yet pointless as no one asked if there was a new special occasion.. not the best first experience. We spend at least $100 per head and we didn’t even get any desserts …
Will not go back.

Honestly one of the best steak houses north of Montreal. They have a fully gluten free menu and are super cautious even giving you different cutlery and dishes. Service was great. Steak was incredible. Been here 4 times already and not once has it missed the mark

Service was great! The personnel is very attentive. However the food is IMHO overpriced for the quality. We had a salmon and beef tartar and a Hamburger Streak. The food was good but not enough for the price. Still a great place to go!

We live close by but never came here until we got guests. Just like a downtown steak house. Plenty of expensive meat. Table d’hôte is always available. Prime rib was awesome. Huge slab of meat perfectly cooked with jus. The bavette was very tasty. Excellent service. They have a terrace and frozen takeout dishes. Great find.
