We enjoyed our parents night out with a delightful dinner! The cocktails were all great, we especially loved the Kentucky samurai and bourbon smash! Our soups of choice unanimous as we all picked French onion soup! It more than met our expectations! The wedge salad was delicious and the candy bacon was perfect!
As far as our main courses go the ribeyes were impressive and cooked to perfection as were the filets. I ordered the three filet medallions and the best way to describe it was almost like a flight. Each one had its own different “dressing”- I was very happy with the variety! The deserts were a lovely ending the only complaint was the cream brulee had a very thick sugar crust- it was slightly difficult to chew. The bread pudding came out on fire and was just as delicious as it looked!
It was slightly loud in the restaurant and that’s my reasoning for 4/5 however it didn’t take away from our overall experience!!

After a less than pleasant interaction at the host stand, the service and food lived up to the hype/reviews.
As a table we tried several offerings from starters/salads straight through to dessert. Everything was REALLY good. The bread with tallow candle was beyond spectacular. The steaks(filet and ribeye) were some of the best we’ve had and the short rib was fantastic. Desserts upheld the bar and finished the meal splendidly.
Just for situational awareness it is pretty dark inside and was quite noisy, but neither distracted much from the meal. Just know going in it’s about the food not the socializing.

We have only eaten at the Westport location. Service has always been good. I have eaten every steak they have to offer. It isn’t my favorite steak house but it is pretty good. I will say they have the best salad I have ever eaten.

We made reservations for our anniversary, and we had a memorable experience! Em was our server and was amazing. She was very knowledgeable of the menu and was attentive to our needs throughout. She was very friendly and made us feel welcome immediately from the moment she walked up to the table. We couldn’t have asked for anyone better for special night. When we go back we will ask for her!
We ordered NY Strip steaks cooked medium, and they came out perfect. The best steak I’ve had in a long time. The flavors were on point. I ordered a plain sweat potato as my side, and it was also very tasty and cooked just right. We also ordered drinks from the bar and soup which were good. With drinks, soup, and the steaks, our bill was a little over $200. When we go out for steaks, we will be back. I highly recommend.

I’ve been coming to Steak & Bourbon for years—honestly, probably close to a hundred visits over the last five years—and it has never missed. It’s hands-down my favorite restaurant in Louisville.
The food is consistently excellent, the service is outstanding, and the atmosphere is exactly what you want in a great steakhouse. Whether you’re tucked into a booth for a special night out or sitting at the bar for a more casual visit, it always feels warm, comfortable, and elevated at the same time.
The staff truly sets this place apart. They’re knowledgeable, attentive, and genuinely kind—you feel welcomed and remembered, not rushed or overlooked. That consistency is rare, and it’s why I keep coming back.
The only thing I genuinely miss is the old happy hour deals. Those $5 cab pours and the old-fashioned specials were such a great touch, and prices have definitely gone up since then. Totally understand the times—but I’d be lying if I said I didn’t miss those deals.

Clean Air Plus
Okay, so first off, the whole staff is totally on point with service, seriously, I notice the little things. This place is super classy, like, they work together perfectly, it’s amazing. So, I took my wife here, and she loved the carrots, the filet mignon, and the lobster bisque was a big hit with her. I got the medium-rare seared filet mignon, and the brussel sprouts were so flavorful, it was incredible. I finished it off with an espresso martini that the awesome bartender suggested, and now I’m hooked! If you need a spot to go, or you’re bringing someone, or trying to impress your significant other, I totally recommend this place. They have these cozy, intimate areas with leather couches jazz music in the background and chairs where you can eat, with beautiful lighting, and valet parking. This is a must-try, like, top five on your list if you’re ever in Louisville, Kentucky, you gotta go.

This is a beautifully decorated establishment and has a quiet and comfortably low lit atmosphere. Each table also has its own small table light that is perfect. The staff are very friendly and inviting. The food is amazing and cooked to perfection. There is a wide variety of food options that are beautifully prepared. This place is highly recommended and I will definitely be revisiting.
