We have the Steak and Hoagie Factory a try tonight. We frequent Jakes Eatery and saw the new location as they were getting setup.

Overall it was decent, but I couldn’t go to 4 stars because it needs some improvement. We ordered a Cheesesteak with mushrooms, sweet peppers and provolone cheese. Cheesesteak American and Italian Hoagie w/oil and vinegar. We ordered fries with cheese and some tots because we don’t always see them.

I ordered online and the experience was simple. They use PDQ for ordering and the interface is simple to use. A recommendation would be to add the cheese types as options and an option for extra cheese on sandwiches.

I went to pickup the sandwiches and I must say the place was really nice inside. It was very clean and there was one customer waiting in front of me for his food. The cashier was nice and asked if I was picking up. She gathered my order, which was ready when I arrived and I was on my way.

The sandwiches were decent but had some room for improvement.

The steaks had a good amount of meat on them. They didn’t have a lot of cheese on them and the meat was a little dry. On my steak I had a couple burnt parts, so it may have been over cooked a little. It had the sweet peppers but no mushrooms. The rolls were good in my opinion. My wife wasn’t a fan of them. They have a little bit of crusty outside and soft inside.

The Italian hoagie was good, better than the steak. It had a good amount of meat, enough oil and vinegar. Only thing I wished it had a little more cheese on it.

The fries and the tots were good.

Overall, I know they are a newer place so I’d say it’s worth a try. Hopefully they will use the customer reviews to make small improvements.

**WILL NEVER GO HERE EVER AGAIN, WILL NOT EVEN WASTE ONE MORE PENNY! ** the past two visits I’ve had in the past 2 weeks have been the worst, I ordered for pickup a hoagie with bacon, when I came home there was pickles already falling out before even opened it, when opening I found an extremely messy, poorly put together hoagie.. TONS of thick red onions, pickles and barely any tomato and lettuce, and mayo not only on the roll but somehow on the outside as well, the roll was falling apart and everything looked jumbled and impossible to eat without making a mess, and not to mention I ordered bacon just to find none on it…they still charged me as if, I paid 30 dollars for a regular size hoagie with no bacon….a complete RIP OFF! Then I figured that maybe it was just a rough night the last time I ordered and decided to give it a chance once again, I come in and get wings, I ordered there and waited, took them home, went to dig in and found wings with barely any meat that were extremely dry and hard, that was so inedible that I had to throw the whole order out. That was the last time I’ll ever order from here. Please save your time and energy and avoid this establishment with all costs!

Fantastic buffalo chicken steak!!! I saw a post on Newtown Patch, so I tried it last week. It was so good, I went again today. I got an extra side of blue cheese. The roll was done in a way I’ve never had for a buffalo chick steak, it’s a soft roll, but they toast the outside. It’s actually a pretty awesome way to offset the soggy nature of a buffalo steak. The roll is also very soft, maybe even doughy, like it was freshly made. I’m satisfied and I recommend going. Let’s see if I ever try any other sandwich

Wow, so disappointing. The last time I walked into order and everyone was super kind and the food was great, but now I can understand why this place and the parking lot was empty. I ordered the same sandwich I had last time for myself the cutlet carne and there was no cutlet. There were two tiny pieces of breaded chicken that were barely seasoned on a big roll. It was really pathetic.

When I called to order, the girl who took the order was pleasant, but that was the only positive thing that I could say about this experience. Next time when my bf suggests Primo Hoagies, I’ll gladly agree instead of recommending this place.

Kinda shocked the reviews are so up and down. I picked up a cheesesteak last week, it was huge and quite good (they used the cooper sharp cheese).

While the sandwiches were very good, they would have been perfect if they had made the ones we ordered. The hoagie came with oil, vinegar AND mayo. Mayo was not ordered. The sandwich was so soggy that it was impossible to take a bite without the insides being squeezed out the other side.
The roast beef, Swiss on rye with mustard somehow morphed into a turkey, ham and cheese with mustard on rye. While the sandwich was thick and tasty, it was the wrong sandwich. We’re a bit too far to just pack everything up and run back for a do-over. We ate everything anyway. Oh well.

Update: The owner reached out to us and replaced our sandwiches. They were fantastic, as always. We will be back, and often as they are a fantastic sandwich shop, and with responsible ownership. Anyone can make a mistake, but not everyone corrects it.
Thanks Michael.

This place is the real deal. Our favorite local takeout. The best thing on the menu are the chicken fingers. Don’t be turned off by the high price – each finger is between 1/3 and 1/2 of a large breast. The honey mustard is excellent.

When ordering through Uber eats or grubhub be sure to check the location!! The Newtown location has the killer fingers. Richboro is totally different – they’re standard fingers and nothing special.

I placed an order over the phone and was told it would be ready in 20 minutes. When I arrived, I found out they hadn’t even started it. Several employees were on their phones, and the manager who rang me up was dismissive when I mentioned the delay, responding with, “What do you want me to do now?” The experience was unprofessional and frustrating. I won’t be returning.
