Great food, excellent service, and great location. We were here for the first time on vacation. Ordered the wet age and dry age 22oz ripeye. Both were delicious. They have an awesome selection of side items. Our server said they’re 2 person share portion but they’re were absolutely bigger than that. Didn’t finish any of the sides. Highly recommended.

I took my wife here for our 14 year anniversary and all I can say is, we made one of the best decisions of our life. From the moment we walked in we were treated so great and seated promptly. The drinks were great, but the person who made our night even more special was our waiter Hector. This guy is amazing. His attention to detail, his bubbly attitude, and great smile made our night. His suggestions were spot on and he was just on top of his game. Also have to mention one the managers, Jennifer Seitaj, she was also great and very polite. This is now our favorite steakhouse in the city and cant wait to return. Thank you and your wonderful staff for a very special evening. ❤️ And tell Hector and Jennifer we said we’ll see them again soon lol

Birthday dinner and selected Steak 48 out of many some we have eaten at many times. First time here and will not be the last. Service and food outstanding. Water and dinner rolls served while we looked over the extensive drink and food menus. Drinks served and food ordered. Explained we would like share the 22 oz bone in rib eye and Server Douglas said he would cut it in half for us. Steaks are cooked at 1500 degrees and severed on 500 degree plates. Warned us not touch plates as very hot. Ordered steak cooked medium rare and was done to perfection. Au gratin potatoes were the best. Oh,the birthday cake was unexpected and was so very good that I even finished it after that wonderful dinner. All the staff was very friendly and professional with special acknowledgment to Douglas.

We dined this weekend a party of 13. How can you say incredible or wow so that others understand ? But the food is second to none and the ambiance is amazing but the service is at a much higher level. Four of my guest said it was the best meal of their life. We celebrated 4 birthdays at once. Steak 48 is all by itself the best restaurant in ChIcago and I have been to all of them including Alinea. Seafood was in ocean same day , the chops were so fresh , and deserts to die for.
