We are a privately owned coffee shop located in Trenton, Ohio. We serve specialty coffee and tea drinks as well as Donuts, pastries, muffins and Bagels. Stop in with a friend, for a meeting or just some good conversation over a great cup of coffee. We will be open 6am-6pm M-F 8am-4pm Sat & Sun.

State Street Coffee has a special place in our hearts. Since the day they opened we have gotten the most delicious and most consistent coffee that anyone could ever experience. The baked goods are a huge added bonus for our daughter. I am writing this as I finish my Little Debbie Christmas Tree coffee which is my 2nd one today! Everyone here is so polite, accommodating and efficient. My daughter loves playing the piano they set up outside during the warmer months. Another extra bonus is they heavily support other small businesses as well. You are so so appreciated State Street. Thank you blessing us with the best coffee we truly have ever had.

A wonderful cafe for specialty coffee. We ordered a hot latte and it was exactly what we wanted. The taste and specialty coffee are wonderful. There are indoor and outdoor seating. The employees are friendly and wonderful in service. The first experience was beautiful. I will come back to them and repeat it many times. There are some items for sale. I advise you to visit it and I wish them success in their distinguished project☕

Coffee wasn’t great, but what really made the experience bad was the atmosphere. My friend and I were stared at, the barista at the counter had 0 customer service skills (I feel like it’s kind of customary for someone working service to smile and at the very least welcome you in), we truly couldn’t get out of there fast enough. The music was weird, the atmosphere was off, and the coffee wasn’t that tasty. It was really unfortunate, I thought I’d found a new study spot 🙁

The ladies at the store were very friendly. We asked for hot coffee and they made as per what we asked. The store sells the merchandise as well. They do sell snack and candy as well. It has a good vibe. The coffee was well made.

About midway on a jaunt to Oxford from Monroe — which we do every couple weeks — we found a great little place in Trenton, Ohio where we stopped for a mid-morning coffee and snack.
State Street Coffee Inc. is a cozy little place with a nice ambiance and very good coffee and pastries. My husband had a cinnamon roll and I chose a crumb cake. We both had a cappuccino, which was very good and hot. The pastries, much to our enjoyment, were heated for us, and we didn’t have to ask for that to be done. They were both very good and rich, and fresh.
They have both tables and chairs and a little comfy sofa and easy chair in the back, by a little electric fireplace. Very nice.
I am sure we will stop here again another time to or from Oxford.

I had a great experience! I think it’s exciting to have a quality, upscale coffee shop so close to home. All the employees were very nice. The prices are comparable to other local coffee shops and even Starbucks or Dunkin. I love that it’s so close to where I live. I ordered an iced coffee with almond milk and liquid cane sugar. My order came out quick. My son ordered a Mocha Frappe. It did take about 3.5 minutes for his to be made but it was tasty and worth the wait. This place hasn’t been open for long. Give them time to work out the kinks and get used to making the orders. ❤

This is my new favorite place! Just what Trenton needed! The owners/family are good hardworking people and all about supporting our community. I very impressed with how friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful the staff has been with my questions and orders! I’m also impressed with how quick I have gotten my orders especially with this shop being brand spanking new and only being opened for TWO days. I have gotten multiple coffee drinks (cold and hot) for myself, smoothies for my children, and breakfast food items. Everything has been very delicious and just as I ordered it. I LOVE the welcoming cozy coffee shop feel and can not wait to see what else State Street Coffee has to offer in the future! Good luck guys and you’re doing a FANTASTIC job!

This is an awesome place to grab a coffee and read a book or hang out with friends. The owner is very friendly as are the staff. They are happy to offer their expertise and suggest a coffee just right for you!. The atmosphere is relaxing and seating is plentiful, except on a sunny Saturday morning. It can get quite busy. My kids, husband and I enjoy coming here on a regular basis.

New(ish) hidden gem in Trenton! My husband and I pass through Trenton off and on to visit family. We live about 20 minutes away but we’ve always complained that there’s nowhere good to get coffee nearby in Trenton. Now I stand corrected! I got an iced Americano with extra half-and-half and sugar free white chocolate and butter toffee. It was chef’s kiss! So delicious. They serve Yield coffee and espresso, which I feel is roasted perfectly, it’s smooth but has some strength. The decor is perfect, modern, with some rustic touches, very clean and welcoming. Next time I’m going to try some of their coffee or tea flights! If you have time to just chill, they have ceramic mugs for any hot drinks which is something I love! There is some thing about drinking a latte in a ceramic mug that’s just better! Highly recommend this place to any coffee snobs like myself.
