Stumbled on this gem after taking a punta class! Cute little bakery, good location, everyone is super nice and friendly (even the other customers!)
Hadn’t had a lot of opportunity to try Guatemalan food, but everything we tried was delicious! We ordered chuchito, un tamal, tostadas and a bunch of different breads and they were absolutely delicious
Would highly recommend and will definitely go back again as it’s right off the highway! Acá si puedes probar el sabor de Guatemala!

I had a wonderful experience discovering this hidden gem. It’s a tiny place where you can get coffee and delicious baked breads. We sampled Conchas, Tortas, Semita, Cubilete, and much more. I highly recommend you get some Conchas for your next gathering – they are lightly sweet and go perfect with a cafe con leche.

Great Tamales.
We ordered tamales for New Year’s and they were fresh out of the pot – grandes y deliciosos! My mom said the Magdalena tasted very Guatemalan. I have to return and try the rest of the food!

Food from here is always excellent. I have had the tamales, paches, and chile rellenos. They have always been large and delicious and taste just like the ones in Guatemala. The atol de elote was ok, not the best that I’ve had. They also allow you order over the phone so you can just go and pick up your order and not find out when you get there that they’re out of something.
