I have been a customer for over 20 years. They have great, authentic Polish food, including prepared and deli meats. This is a family owned business that is much easier to shop at than Polish stores on wood ave in Linden. Lots of parking.

Totally agree about the kielbasa as the best. Love the rye bread they get from Brooklyn, it reminds me of the Jewish Rye from a bakery in Perth Amboy as a kid. I am 71 years old thus had great Eastern European ethnic food from Perth Amboy. Now for Christmas 2025 my manicurist from Poland said to get the herring from Stas. We normally make our own but I decided to try their own in oil, OMG, so good BUT I also bought the Lowell brand in vinegar as my dad used to make and we continued. EXCELLENT as well. I live in Hamilton so a good 45 mins away but soo worth it.

Growing up with a polish mom Kielbasa was one of her prepared dishes with sauerkraut. (I skipped the kraut) but the kielbasa at Stas’s deli is the best I have ever had. (Fine ground). If you do polish cooking (I don’t generally) they have a great variety for you.

I have been coming here for over 15 + years. The food is the best! The family that owns it are so nice and I think it’s the best place for polish food. I’ve tried other places that people have suggested in nearby Linden but none are as good as here!

Wonderful polish store with tons of parking all around the entire building and side street. The pierogi, stuffed cabbage and kielbasa are the best I’ve ever had. And the service is what makes me come back week after week!

This place is fantastic! I just bought a home in Rahway and Stas is right at the end of my new street. I was born and raised in central Connecticut and this shop reminds me of the places you can find in New Britain which is basically Connecticut’s “little Poland”.
The couple times I’ve gotten food here so far, it reminds me of my grammy’s home cooking. I only wish that she had taught me to speak Polish so I could better understand the types of food they sell here (especially the kielbasa)! Either way, I will be visiting frequently and I suggest you do the same!
