I have been popping in here for a few years now. The entire staff is friendly, which is a much bigger factor than most people realize. People go where they feel good walking through the door and avoid the opposite.
I’m not sure if I have all the names right but everyone at the mom & pop shop is super cool: Allen, Steven, Katie, Samantha, and Zoey. My bad if I got a name wrong or spelled one wrong. Fortunately, there is no Mortimer (not sure of spelling).
I always get the Chicken & Ribs combo with Mac n’ cheese and fries. Well … every time except the last time. I went a little heavy on the Mac n’ Cheese. I really don’t like writing that btw. Does the apostrophe go before or after the ‘n?’ And, now by asking that, I had to put the question mark inside the quotations because that is grammatically correct in the U.S. But I don’t like it. I like the U.K. version better than than U.S. version. But I like American a lot better than the U.K. overall.
I feel like we got a little off-topic. Great food, staff, and atmosphere. Also cool decor, even though I don’t think the pigs would be as happy as advertised.
If I had to pick out one negative—I do this for every review to maintain authenticity—it would be the parking lot. If it’s off-peak, no problem. During peak hours, not easy.

First time here although my boyfriend had been but many years, I got the hamburger steak dinner with grilled onions, Mac and cheese and mayo coleslaw and boy it was good! I will definitely be back to try the BBQ which I’m sure will be good judging my the taste of this meal. I love being able to support small businesses! 10/10 would recommend!

Prices up and quanity down. Spent $19.25 on this meal with a piece of chicken and it’s an absolute disgrace. The bbq didn’t even cover the bottom of the container.
Update to the “Owners Response”…. I said the meal come with the piece of chicken but I moved it to show everyone what a sorry amount of BBQ was below the chicken. Nothing here is half eaten pal, just a sorry excuse for a dinner and a true review.

A little disappointed. Got the brisket plate and BBQ tray. They both where dry. But all and all it was ok. Placed order on line so cant say about the service and atmosphere.

Absolutely annoyed at this place. The online only ordering system would be fine if it was actually accurate. Then they won’t even take calls for people who just have general questions about whats not on the menu even though they serve it in the restaurant. The customer service has gone down hill and I just dont recommend this place any more to anyone.

Decided to try Boss Hog BBQ out since every time we drive by it seems to be crowded. Now we see why! We ordered the Chopped BBQ Tray along with a Philly Cheesesteak. The food tasted great and the different sauces they have are amazing. We will definitely be back again since they have a large menu with lots of other good looking items we want to try!

This place as been a godsend for my family for over a decade. The prices are fantastic and the food is the best in town. A bunch of food joints have been opening up near by and none stand a chance going toe to toe on price and quality with Boss Hog. Friendly staff, that remember my name and are always nice. I really can’t say enough good things. If I ever have to move away from this area, the thing that will make it the hardest will be losing access to such an incredible place. If you haven’t been, you owe it to yourself, you won’t regret it.

Absolutely love boss hog as always moved here in 2005 when nothing was around their ribs were always good I got their salad but even the grilled chicken was amazing my husband loved the boss brisket burger and the owner even gave us 2 banana pudding which is always so good there next trip will definitely be ribs and chicken

Great to find this place. Straight up BBQ piled high. The sandwich was huge and excellent. Pick your sauces but I love a BBQ place that doesn’t hide its meat in sauce first..because the quality speaks for itself and it can stand alone. Definitely going back this week.
