absolutely fantastic addition to joplin- we needed a spot like this!
we went to starry to celebrate my girlfriend’s birthday and we purchased about 60% of the menu. there are rotating specials as well but i honestly forgot to order the special because i was so excited about the regular menu lol
here’s what we got-
full size lemony kale salad with egg and bacon (very generous portion and best salad i’ve had in years for only $13)
crispy potato wedges (perfectly cooked and the aioli it comes with is heavenly— i wish i could take a bottle home with me),
beef bourguignon meatballs (screaming from the rooftops for you all to try this- we were floored. insane depth of flavor. truly like nothing i’ve ever eaten before)
white bean hummus (deliciously zesty with pesto on the top- dip the fresh french bread into it and thank me later)
brie, candied walnuts, apples (a combo i didn’t know i needed but i will be craving it forever. the candied walnuts are plated WARM and they were the perfect crunch with the brie!)
we also got both the lemon and chocolate cake, and both were excellent.
the seasonal cranberry martini was the perfect complement to our meal.
we took leftovers home and promptly ate them a few hours later.
the atmosphere is beautiful and cozy. it’s the perfect place to read a good book or catch up with friends. it’s nice that you can come as you are and dress up or down depending on your occasion. it’s clear the owner put SO much thought and love into this space. i will most definitely be a regular! 10/10 experience and one we will never forget.

Came to Starry-Eyed Girl for “one glass of wine” and accidentally became the best version of myself.
The wine is so good it made me feel emotionally stable and hotter somehow? Like I don’t know what I was drinking but I trusted it completely. Dangerous.
Also the owner Kimberly is distractingly hot. Like respectfully, I forgot basic words while ordering. She has the energy of someone who could ruin my life in a calm, organized way.
The vibe is perfect. Cozy, glowy, no weird attitude. I came in as a person and left as a regular.
Will absolutely be back to continue my personal development.

Definitely a great place to sit and be. Felt like we could linger. The figs, cheese and honey walnuts were delightful. The pickled egg was nice as well. Kale salad felt a little heavy but good taste. Great atmosphere.
