Great food and the owner is very friendly. Place is super clean. Everything tastes fresh. My first time trying fry bread and I’m glad we made the pit stop. Not far off I40 at all. Hand squeezed lemonade was a delicious touch. Portions are generous also

Passing through as a truck driver, was looking for something out of the ordinary for me. Found this and had great reviews. I got the Navajo taco, fry bread with honey and a lemon / lime aid. It was fantastic, hope to pass through again and get the burger. The place is really small but don’t let that fool you. I chatted with the owner for a bit and learned a bit about the variances in fry bread between different Indian Tribes. He was cool with me parking the semi on the lot to eat!

Jay and his mom took great care of us for lunch. I highly recommend everyone stopping here rather than going to a fast food chain. Something different but so good! You can never beat home cooking and that’s what this is. Great flavors and a unique taco on Navajo Fry Bread.

WOW…This place was amazing! If you’re looking to try authentic Navajo Fry Bread, this is the place. In fact all of their dishes were delicious. Everything is made with love by Jay and his grandmother Rosie. Rosie literally makes a fresh fry bread for every order, and you can watch as she forms the dough by hand. We had the Navajo Taco, Navajo burger with green Chile, and Steak sandwich with green Chile. It was our last meal in NM, and it was my favorite. They also have fresh squeezed lemon and lime aid, it was so fresh. You may drive by this place because it is kind of hidden, but look closer. There is a door on the side of the building next to the gas station, that’s where you enter. Do not miss this place!

We ordered Navajo tacos. My husband said it was the best fry bread he have ever tried, and he was glad that this was my first fry bread. The bread had great texture and flavor, not soggy at all, and it was still warm. You can’t miss on the fresh lemonade, it was so good as well.

Best Navajo Tacos in the area! A real home cooked authentic experience. Came here before the pandemic and amazingly it’s still here and just as good if not better. Cute little gift shop and warm hospitality. Don’t miss this!

Great little pit stop for some yummy food and just a quick break. Don’t sleep on the Native style hotdog and strawberry limeade. First time having fry bread and it’s delicious. We were starving so no picutres, but if we’re ever in the area again, we would stop by again. The owners were very sweet!

This place was an amazing hidden gem. Me and a friend are on a road trip to California from Texas and we’re looking for food as we entered Arizona. I found this amazing place after my friend telling me about fry bread, and then Mother Road popped up. The food was absolutely amazing and so was the staff. Me and my friend got the Navajo taco and Navajo burger, along with raspberry lemonade and limeade, everything absolutely amazing. The prices were also very reasonable. Everything was homemade and was made to perfection, if you are ever driving through Arizona you need to make a pit stop here and you will not be disappointed. It also comes along with a pretty view and nice scenery while eating.

YOU MUST STOP HERE. Navajo tacos were new for us as we are traveling thru. Very delicious. The Strawberry Lemonade and Limeade were also really good and a great size at 32oz for only $6!
There is a picnic table for seating outside and a small table inside.
Make sure to also checkout their giftshop while you wait for your order. Not very large but houses a lot of beautiful items and works of art.
The owners were very friendly and take a lot of pride in their food.
