I always liked Starliner but figured I’d save the review until I got a taste of the Cuban French Toast and, I must say, it was delicious! Lives up to the hype in my opinion. I also really like the Machaca (my usual), so while the table split the confections, I got satisfying meal to go with it.

First time there. I came for brunch. I ordered three pancakes and coffee. Coffee was good! The pancakes were huge! 10 inches across! Very thick! Yet the taste was almost non-existent. This was disappointing. I had hoped for much better. Maybe I caught them on an off day? Perhaps another item is better? Forget the pancakes and try another food item. Service was outstanding! I sat outside and received fantastic service! Good job!

One of our traditions is brunch to bring in the new year and Starliner did not disappoint. She got the French toast, I got the Cuban Omelette with Cuban toast. We did our best because both were so delicious, but ultimately have a box to enjoy leftovers.
As others have said the atmosphere is memorable and eclectic, which makes it a fantastic casual date environment. The service was also the perfect mix of attentive without being too overbearing.

First visit to Starliner Diner. What a gem! I would return for the Cuban toast alone. My fresh spinach and mushroom omelet was served with a big helping of potatoes. The food and service here is great! Just sad that I was too full to try dessert.

Was taken here, by an old friend that told me I’d love it. I did. The service was quick and cheerful. Coffee just seemed to arrive and get regularly topped up.
I went for the Mofongo Omelette, wow. Intense flavours, but nothing overpowering, my only complaint, probably a bit too much for my appetite, but each mouthful was an experience.
A definite recommendation.
