Ginormous chocolate chip PANCAKES are big enough to be all the food one needs for the whole day. And they’re less than $9. A kitschy atmosphere that actually makes me feel comfortable plus customer service that’s truly friendly (not that fake/ forced stuff you get in most places). But the best part of Starliner? They’re open until dark Wednesdays thru Saturdays.

We went at brunch on a Sunday. We didn’t wait the 20 minutes and sat at the bar instead. The food took over 30 minutes to come out, but was very worth the wait. This place was busy! I will try it again during a less busy time. I’m leaning toward 4 stars only because our water never was refilled – but I’ll still give 5. It was a very busy brunch hour.

The service was lightning fast and the food was delicious. It was almost impossible to pick what we wanted from the extensive menu, but the Chicken Burrito with Black Beans and Rice, fried plantains, and Cuban French Toast hit the spot. Can’t wait to go back and try more!

We were at the Starliner for the first time and loved the daily breakfast specials. That French toast was just crazy good. Cubes of Cuban bread coated in some delectable cinnamon and sugar mix and deep fried. So crisply, tender and good and it came with fruit. My son in law loved the pork hash so much he dreams of when he can make it back for more. My daughter had the Machaca and loved it. I had the Mofongo twice actually. It was so large I had the other half at home the next day. I enjoyed it. It took a minute to get used to the sweetness of the plantains, but it is a great dish and one of their most popular I am told. My wife got the American standard bacon and eggs and was well pleased how it was prepared. She likes her bacon crispy and crispy it was.

A fun, locally owned diner with a slightly elevated menu. I ordered the breakfast burrito, which was very good, but more food than I could eat. It was served with home fries, which were nice and crispy on the outside and tender on the inside.

Great breakfast. Cuban French Toast is really good and very unique, wife loved it. I had traditional breakfast and it had great flavor. They cook their toast on the flaptop grill. Normally I take a bite or two of toast and leave the rest, ate all my toast at Starlight because the way they cook it gives it so much flavor and unique bite. Server was fun and very personable Congrats to the restaurant, an overall exceptional experience.
