The Starbucks at 18629 SR 2 in Monroe, WA, is a cozy, albeit slightly dated, location without a drive-thru. Despite its size and age, the baristas provide exceptional service; during my visit, one even called me by name to let me know my drink was next with a personal touch that’s not typical for a first-time customer. While the ambiance could use some updates, the staff’s attentiveness and friendliness make it a welcoming spot for a quick coffee break.

My favorite Starbucks in Monroe and surrounding area. Lily the barista and the manager who is a sweet Asian woman are my favorite. The staff here is quick and it’s a well oiled machine. It’s always clean, drinks always consistent and they are friendly. I’ve been to other Starbucks in Monroe and this place always makes my regular coffee drink the best.

The best one in Monroe. They clearly run a tight ship and it shows. Drinks are always on point never burnt always balanced flavor, service is always good. Clean store. Cute location.

I haven’t been in a Starbucks in a while and I choose this one because it was convenient for me. It wasn’t all that busy there. Two people inside having a lovely conversation and three barristas – 2 up front and 1 in the back. I wasn’t greeted when I came in, nor was I helped. I stood at the counter for 10 minutes watching the girls talk, asked if I could get some help and listened to them keep talking. It would have been nice to be acknowledged, even with just a moment or something. So I walked out. I didn’t even say bye because if you couldn’t be bothered to say Hello, welcome in or let me know it will be a few minutes, you won’t care about me leaving. I went home and made tea instead. Thank you for reminding me about the Starbucks charm (or lack thereof!).

A smaller location with limited seating and no drive thru. Parking is shared with other businesses, but isn’t usually any problem.

Staff is patronizing and show little concern for any service. Should not take 25 minutes for a mobile order especially when walking can be served and out the door while waiting. Customers seem unhappy while waiting.
