Let’s get into this food
My husband ordered the turkey sandwich babeeeeee from the soft, hot moist turkey to that crunchy flavorful, Bussin coleslaw, and pecan on top best part the bun didn’t fall apart
Talk about that Lawless burger I had no clue what I was getting myself into this burger is bursting with flavors from the patty to the cheese to the brisket that’s caramelized on the outside, soft and moist on the inside this mostly definitely went home big juicy burger. Thought I was gonna be able to eat it all since it was my first meal of the day nope ↔️ can’t forget about that creamy hot macaroni and cheese
The Lady taking the orders very helpful and sweet told her it was our first time in she was not playing when she said the mac & cheese was really good
I would like to say thank you to the whole cooking crew the food is fresh in hot bursting with flavors in every bite?

The BBQ here is incredible. My friend and I ordered a massive amount of food between just her and I. My favorites were: the pulled pork nachos, the brisket and the potato salad. My least favorite was the mac and cheese, but the collard greens and baked beans were amazing, too!

Craving BBQ in Portland and decided to give this place a try. The restaurant was very clean. Ordered the Lawless platter to share ($53) and chose bbq beans and potato salad as our sides. Visually the food looked pretty good but half of the meat (the brisket and the turkey) unfortunately came out cold, room temperature at best. We let the cashier/server know and asked if it could maybe just be warmed up and they looked less than thrilled by the request, didn’t bother to apologize and told us “I guess if you want to put it on that plate we can warm it up” Based on other reviews, food being delivered at the proper temperature seems to be an issue, and for the amount you’re paying the food being hot should be the absolute bare minimum. Brisket and ribs were extremely fatty, the potato salad tasted more like egg salad (but everyone has their preference I suppose) and turkey left much to be desired. Unfortunately we left more food on the plate than we ate, really missed the mark.

We came here for lunch one day as we wanted some bbq. I believe this used to be the old Pacific Pie Co. location. The interior is pretty spacious, and they also have some outdoor seating. We ordered an assortment of items to share among the three of us. We ordered the daily special, which was the Brisket Philly. Brisket nachos, burnt ends, sausage, wings, brisket, and some waffle fries. I really enjoyed their wings, which were smoked and then fried, I believe. I also liked their brisket and sausage as both were flavorful. The burnt ends were a bit on the sweet side for me. The nachos were great to share. Overall, we had a good meal and would come back.

Bread was as soft as the meat, incredibly flavourful. The barbecue beans *actually* had the sauce in them, instead of just being cooked in the same fashion. Everything was delicious, a must for eating BBQ in Portland

Beef brisket dinner. Wife and I both did beef brisket and both plates had two extra large pieces of pure fat. Wife was so turned off by the plate of fat that we walked out. Left the plate of food and the fat. Pretty sad when 1/3 of the beef brisket is fat. Plus the food was cold. I do my own beef brisket on my smoker at home and yes some fat but not something I would serve on a plate for anyone even my enemies. I can’t believe this was acceptable to serve this was and both dinner plates. It was my idea for bbq and wife wanted something else. This made it worse with my wife. She said I wanted to do seafood and now look at money and time wasted. For the fat pile and we left our entire meal to go for seafood.

Having worked at a barbecue shack when I younger, I have a good taste when it comes to barbecue. Unfortunately they were out of ribs, which is there best meat I am guessing. The brisket was dry but decent, the sausage tasted store bought. Bread needs to be toasted. Pickles were drowned is sugar. If you are looking for an amazing barbecue spot, please try Pineshed.

Two of us shared the lawless platter with waffle fries and mac & cheese as sides. It was less sweet and salty than other BBQ places, which was really great to me! The server was very friendly and explained well to us. They recently moved in, so the tables are very clean. It would be nice if they had a draft beer option.

Food was fresh and fabulous. Katie was an amazing human. They took care of everything. Such a great vibe and so flavorful. We got the brisket nachos and the Lawless platter. It was all so flavorful. Totally recommend when in Portland. Top tier BBQ and service.
