So usually I love getting my morning coffee at Starbucks in Safeway but today I’m really upset about it. I took my husband and son in. I ordered a caramel ribbon crunch, my husband ordered a mocha cookie crumble. Everything was fine until the manager stepped in, I ended up with chocolate sauce on mine and my husband ended up with caramel sauce on his. Now I have ADHD and their caramel ribbon crunch is one of my dopamine drinks so to have it messed up like that is really depressing, I just want to cry right now. Everytime that manager touches my drinks it comes out wrong. I’m done.

Clean, fast service, always friendly staff! Just watch out for the occasional customer who really just has to “Karen” her way to a perfect beverage, usually on the house, because it wasn’t up to her standards. The staff are always gracious and take it in stride. Just gotta say, the customer is *not* always right!

If there was a sixth star on here this lady would’ve earned it! Tammy the manager at this Starbucks was stellar in her customer service and kept very cool under heavy pressure. We swung by and put in a large order (for the office) while two other people came up with multiple drink orders and she greeted them all personally and literally made everyone smile when they came in, laughed while they waited, and smiled on their way out!! I have never received service better than this from any coffee company aside from Dutch Bros. In fact this service was neck and neck or better in comparison. I got coffee from her a few months ago but she still works there. If you are in this Safeway swing by and look for Tammy!

I mean it’s Starbucks what can I say. I like their egg white bites & small NITRO cold brew with almond milk. (Must say nitro) But truth be told if I want better coffee I drive just across airport Rd to the Santiam coffee drive thru. But if I want great coffee and a cool atmosphere to hang out I’m going to dark bloom. Even though I think the best coffee in town is Cafe moo they’re not always open. Anyway I guess it boils down to Starbucks is my 4th choice in Lebanon. Unless you’re just one of those people who has to speed through life and get your things as quickly as possible. Santiam coffee just across the street their drive-thru line is always shorter than Starbucks.

Try to charge me 55¢ for “extra coffee” in my half iced coffee/half cold brew? I order this drink 2-3 times a week from corporate stores and they have never charged me extra.

I like to try other local coffee shops to keep an open mind, and though they’re good, Starbucks will always be my favorite. You don’t even have to like coffee to like Starbucks. The shaken iced tea lemonade is one of my top favorites.
