I was there Friday, February 28, 2026. O ordered a Chai Tea. Unfortunately, it tasted like watered down tea. I was in a hurry to get on the freeway, so I couldn’t take time to return it or speak to the Manager. Although the guy who served me was very kind and personable, I wouldn’t go back there. It cost me $5.75. I find that awfully high for watered down tea. Sorry, guys.

I had such a great experience at this store! Italy was my barista and she was so sweet and has great customer service! The store is clean and inviting, and we got our drinks quickly.

I also wanted to mention Corrin’s amazing customer service. As I was sitting in the cafe I noticed how engaging and positive she was with every customer that walked in!

They never get my coffee right, i’ve complained to management, and they claim that there has been more training yet I still receive a bad coffee, employees lack enthusiasm it’s almost like they’re miserable. This location is also really slow?

I’ve complained about this Starbucks at another Starbucks location and they informed me that they hear about how bad this location is all the time.

A caramel Macchiato is a simple drink to make, it shouldn’t taste different every time I get one, why does it always take 5-10 minutes in the drive through to get a drink?

Too bad Starbucks has gotten so greedy. Not only prices but rewards are absymmal you have to earn alot to get little in return. You can’t swap out a syrup in the matcha for literally another syrup of the same price without paying 80 cents or using your rewards. Prices are high, quality low. You can no longer get a cup of water even if you PAY. Forced to buy a water bottle. The cashier just looks at you with a stupid grin saying “I can’t.” Duh whatever happened to customer service. I’ll never spend another dime of my money at Starbucks, there so many other good coffee shops in the area. I used to be a regular customer.

It’s an absolute shame that Starbucks decided to close the cozy, warm location further down sunnyside that had great customer service and never made mistakes. Unfortunately this location is the exact opposite. The inside is bland with no character and an awkward setup for seating. The service was lacking, no warmth, no smiles. My dragon fruit refresher tasted like caramel or perhaps Irish creme.. this makes me think the worker used supplies without washing them from a previous drink. Needless to say, I tossed the drink. I also got a ham and Swiss croissant. The ham was hard and stale, while the croissant was dough-y and flat. Needless to say, it was inedible. With this location now being the only closest to my house, we may become Black Rock drinkers after this experience.

When they have a team of Asians or Latin working in the mornings here, I have some of the best tasting drinks and food. That All White staff Saturday morning August 16th made Nasty drink. Had dried up meat from a sandwich in my drink. An All White staff should be against the Law, the Prejudice ones will mess things up on purpose. That was the worst drink I ever had at a Starbucks. Hire a more diverse staff or please let the Team of Asians work mornings on the weekend because there was so much attention to detail and cleanliness with that staff compared to Saturday August 16th staff. Day and night difference!

PS: I tried to give this location another try and today at 810am February 28, 2026 the Caucasian Lady with glasses had an attitude. I asked for a straw because for some reason, Starbucks stop making the straws available for customers. And when I said thank you she Turned her head and said, “go”! Are mean Caucasian Ladies all this Starbucks wishes to hire. Makes no sense. If you’re stressed out then just don’t speak which is weird because why work there if you stressed about making cups of coffee. It’s not Heart Surgery or Rocket Science.

I ordered a medium latte for my mom who was in the hospital across the street. She was busy with a provider when I returned so her drink sat for a few minutes. When I opened it to pour it into another container, the medium cup was literally 1/2 full and barely luke warm. I had to go down to the cafeteria just to heat it. I have tried multiple times to call them to complain but the phone number listed just rings busy. I would have given them all one stars but my medium coffee with cream was at least hot.

I stopped in the grab a White Chocolate Mocha to get warm and be festive. The crew was very busy, I was amazed how efficient they were. The location was spartan and clean. Sadly they didnt have the smaller version of You Are Here mugs, I collect. I had a seat and enjoyed my mocha and listened to music.
Edit. Since my initial visit I’ve been back twice, for a bagel with cheese to go with my coffee. Both times they have neglected to offer a utensil to spread the cheese.

I’ve never had a friendlier and cohesive seeming team at a Starbucks. Everybody is wonderful, and seems so happy. Gives the energy of what I assume Starbucks strives for.
