Update: I was willing to give it another try. This time I was not disappointed. It started while the drink was being Blended. They picked up the cup and showed it some love with some Caramel I felt my mood change from a pick me up to excited delight. Knowing I had a great treat to look forward to the dopamine boost was primed and waiting for that first sweet, warm and cold sip. Very very pleased with this time. Will include old review to show that there was an issue and you can see the difference

They quickly took care of a drink order just before mine and made mine and then one person wondered off leaving one to deal with the counter while my drink just needed the Carmel and the lid. I don’t drink coffee but my kids have to get Starbucks. I do enjoy some of the baked goodies from time to time. This location has a crap parking lot and street entrance , add in bay area travelers who can’t drive and it’s a mess

This Starbucks is conveniently located inside the Safeway. That means if you have the Safeway fresh pass, they give you one $2 grande starbucks drink per month and you know I cash it in every month! The service has been conveniently friendly and drinks are great every time. Sometimes seems a bit short staffed, but all around I’ve had a good experience every time thus far.

KELSEY IS AMAZING! She literally helped us invent our drink and ever since we’ve been loyal customers. Kelsey deserves a raise she’s our favorite barista and she always makes it extra good! Sometimes there is a line since it’s in a grocery store but it’s worth the wait! 🙂

Not great compared to other Starbucks, at least on this visit. Only a couple seated customers inside, but very busy at the drive up. My order was taken pretty quickly, but a long wait afterwards because everyone was focused on the drive up window. I only ordered one standard frappe and waited over 10+min for it. One other person came in after me and she was still waiting when I left. I had time to shop the shelves, use the restroom, and still came back and stood around for a while. Watching all the drinks go out the window.
I get the need to fill drive up orders quickly, I’m usually one of them myself, but you need to have staff assigned to people who are standing inside as well.

I have been a regular customer for years.. some experiences at various shops have been better than others..
For a franchise-type business, I think consistency would be a priority.. but it’s not the case.. some give MUCH BETTER customer service that others.. and I try to share that with their corporate office..

Made small talk to one of the girls there about seeing her drunk at the bar having a good time, I wasn’t flirting and I wasn’t being negative, but i guess she took it wrong. Next thing I know the manager is telling me that multiple girls there are accusing me of saying inappropriate things and in order to get coffee there I have to be escorted by a Safeway employee. That lasted for almost a year. That ended 6 months ago. Most of the original girls don’t work there anymore. I see the troublemaker there from time to time, but its Abby who has been rude to me ever since and I’ve never been anything but nice to her!

Well….their coffee drinks are way overpriced for the amount you get if you’re getting an iced drink!!! Dutch Bros. gives you your money’s worth!! If you’re better off staying with the hot drinks or asking for very light ice!!! Just a friendly tip so you get your monies worth!!
