I was greeted with “welcome to the window” when I got my drink at the drive thru which was really odd because shouldn’t they tell you how much your order was? Or a simple “welcome to starbucks?” The staff here are not very aware of what’s going on.
The parking obstacles encourage drive-thru usage, particularly during busier time windows.
I asked for a quad shot & to just top off with nitro cold brew. She’d rather charge me for a full drink + my shots when I didn’t want that much. Topping off a shot cup is a problem?! OK, BYE
I dont mean to be petty but this girl was super tweaking & super dumb. NOT FRIENDLY. NOT HELPFUL. AVOID.
Do not recommend this location.
Before this location was “temporary” closed, I had an incredibly negative experience that I have now shared with everyone and anyone.
I am active duty and stopped by this location with my OWN cup to ask for a small amount of ice cubes during one of our heat waves after a 18-hr shift & 2-hr commute. I was told by the employee “as of Jan ‘24 we are no longer giving ANY amount of ice unless you make a purchase”. I explained that I was active duty, that I had completed a 22-hr day in the grueling heat, I had my own cup and just needed a couple of ice cubes and that I had been a Starbucks customer since 2001. She replied “ there’s nothing I can do, we are not giving you any ice.”
I asked for her supervisors name and email address and detailed the time, location etc and sent the email. After one week, the “supervisor” replied: “As of January 2024, it is now nationwide policy that no ice or water will be given without a purchase regardless of container.”
Your company is losing TONS of many to other competitors due to this DISGUSTING attitude. You should be ashamed.
Since that date, I have NEVER frequented another of your locations, told all of my colleagues what your new policy is.
I then traveled across N Coast Highway and received ice for my cup from the employees at 7-Eleven.
I wish you NOTHING positive.
We were almost done and only had 4 more pages for her to initial and had purchased drinks of course, and they randomly decided to close early tonight, 40 MINUTES EARLY. Someone named Bianca actually came outside to us on the patio, where we had to sit in the freezing cold since they have nowhere inside to sit, and she had the gall to ask us to leave the patio so she could lock it up and close early. I told her we only had a few more pages to go and would be done within 5 min, but she insisted that we had to leave anyway.
So we got all of the papers mixed up having to bundle them all up to hurry & go sit IN HER CAR to finish them THERE instead. And both “Bianca” & “Grace” were still inside messing around until 9pm anyway!! They could have simply been kind and respectful to especially this woman, after all she has done for our country, for THEM. Unbelievable, I have seen low levels of service and rudeness, but this takes the cake. 40 minutes early and we are customers out there signing paperwork and we are asked to LEAVE …. so they could go home a few minutes early! They turned away 3 more cars at the drive thru and a couple of people came up and asked if they could use the restroom and they were told they had to purchase something, and they said of course, they had planned on it. But then right afterward, they were told, “oh actually, I’m sorry, we are closed and unable to serve anyone now, & SENT THEM AWAY, not allowing them to even use the restroom that was still accessible, during business hours.
If they don’t enjoy working or having jobs here and don’t want to treat people with decency they don’t deserve to be allowed to do business here. There are 5 other privately owned coffee shops all right there within a block of this location. So trust me…go to 1 of those shops instead.
I don’t like leaving bad reviews like this. I like to leave very long detailed GOOD positive reviews that help bring more business in possibly. This was so lame, and stunningly distasteful.
