Really disappointed in this food, especially spending $40-50. ): The ribs and tea were okay, but the chicken was inedibly dry, everything needed salt, and even the peach cobbler was terrible. It was squishy undercooked batter with some canned peaches mixed in, and smelled tangy and awful like sourdough or something.

Shane’s is under new management and their system is still being updated. Management was present and working diligently with the cashier in training and kitchen staff.
The food was hot to order. Be patient as your food has to be prepared. We ordered chopped chicken plate, 2 sides . The salad was fresh and plentiful. The mac and cheese was OK. We also ordered smoked wings, but we learned that we must be specific and say we want them grilled only. It is a longer process we are willing to wait for, instead of them being partially grilled and fried.
They serve your food and were constantly checking to see our well being. Leadership was also very apologetic toward their system and a few mishaps (learning the ropes). Those things happen and can be corrected. We were assured that in about weeks, more updates will be perfected.
Thank you for a great visit. We anticipate a greater return.

Yesterday, I had the pleasure of dining at this restaurant for the first time. The food was exquisite, and the atmosphere was delightful. I love Shanes and drove here from Richmond, Virginia on my Polaris Slingshot. The service was simplt amazing, the nicest people from the older lady at the counter with Bhargav. The food was prepared quickly and with the sauces I asked for. Bhargav must have checked because he ran outside to hand me two more original Shane sauces just to ensure I had in the bag what was asked for. We stopped in here for dinner on a Friday night. They took our order and seated us right away. This was my first time eating here so I ordered the Shack Sampler with ribs, grilled chicken tenders, slaw, & baked beans. Everything was really good and the staff was very friendly & helpful. Only negative thing was I kinda felt like the outer edges of the ribs were overcooked and hard. Overall it was decent southern comfort food and the view of sunset outside was nice.. Enjoy!

Ordered a two meat plate and an order of traditional wings. To say the least everything was great. Hadn’t eaten all day. Are it all. That chicken broke apart perfect and the ribs were falling off the bone. Coleslaw was a little bland though.

My sister and I went here for lunch today! The food was great, but the gentleman that waited on us was awesome and made me laugh! I love people with a great attitude and he had the best!
Oh my gosh, I almost forgot to speak about the music that was playing! It was the best! Old school R&B! I truly would have loved to have stayed and danced lol.

Shane’s is not bad for a fast food style BBQ. I like it better than Dickey’s as they have some more interesting menu options and their prices are in touch with reality. My only negative about these guys is the consistency. Sometimes steak fries, sometimes crinkle cut. Sometimes wing sauce is spicy, sometimes it’s mild. Sometimes there is way too much sauce, other times its lightly sauced. The staff are great and friendly. And I love somewhere that leaves sauces out for you and doesn’t make you beg for them. Except ranch, you have to beg for that and they will still forget to give it to you.

I like the décor of the restaurant although the location is not the easiest place to find. Large selection on the menu and I chose to get the pork and the baby back ribs with a side of onion rings and baked beans. It also came with 2 pieces of Texas toast on the side. It was a lot of food but for $22 I would have expected it to be. The Onion rings were delicious so were the baked beans. The barbecue pork appears to be hand chopped and the flavor was very good although it was very greasy. The ribs were good but very fatty. I would go again.
