I placed a mobile order this morning to save time. When I arrived, my food item was ready, but my drink was not. After asking about it, I was told they were out of the protein milk for the protein coffee.
They asked what I wanted instead, so I requested the same coffee made with fat-free milk. While they did remake the drink, no one addressed the price difference, even though the protein coffee costs more. I had to bring this up myself, and only then was a refund mentioned, very hesitantly, as if they weren’t sure how to handle it. By this point, I had already been waiting several minutes. I was told I would need to stay longer to receive the refund, which I couldn’t do, so I had to leave.
Overall, items should not be available for mobile order if they are out of stock. The refund should have been offered proactively without me needing to ask, especially since the issue was on their end. To make matters worse, the coffee I received tasted terrible, I don’t believe the vanilla syrup was even added.
Very disappointing experience, especially for a mobile order meant to save time.

I needed a strong coffee badly, as I was driving back to Phoenix from Tucson. Stopped in Starbucks in Marana and decided on a 4-shot Venti Latte, I also got two banana breads slices for the road. Everything was great tasting and the coffee helped me stay awake for the ride home. Starbucks staff was super friendly and helpful. Ambience was nice, clean, and cool inside.

If I could give beyond 5 stars to the employees at this starbucks I would. I have been going to this store since they opened. There are many starbucks on my morning commute to work that I could stop at. But, I choose this one.
All I have to do is tell them my order and they know its me . They always greet me by name. If I haven’t been in for awhile they always ask how i’ve been and that they are happy to see me.

So frustrating to have to give this Starbucks location a bad review, but after getting multiple orders that are messed up I have no choice. There is a major lack of consistency at this location, I get my regular drink and I swear it is different every time. Sometimes it tastes like they added extra syrup, other times it tastes like they didn’t add enough, other times it feels like they used regular espresso roast instead of blonde without disclosing, or they didn’t use enough milk / foam it properly… It’s a myriad of issues honestly. On top of this my husband likes to get a strawberry acai refresher with a splash of sweet cream and vanilla sweet cream foam, and at least 50% of the time they totally forget the splash of sweet cream. Final nail in the coffin is how slow they are, you can order on their app 15 minutes before you get to the store and still end up waiting 10 minutes for them to prepare two drinks and a sandwich. Some of the baristas seem to operate at a glacial pace. This is the only Starbucks in this part of Marana, the next closest one is twice the distance away at the outlets so we are sort of stuck having to deal with them if I want my Starbucks fix. Unfortunately I think I will be switching to dunkin’ once they finish building it, because taking a 50-50 chance that my go-to coffee will be undrinkable every time we go is not a risk I want to take anymore
EDIT: It gets worse, today my husband picked up our drinks and thank God he didn’t take a sip of his yet because there was a giant dead fly in it. Unexcusable. I really wish we could get a change in management here or a new Starbucks in this area

It’s a really nice and clean Starbucks! The drinks came out fast and were made well. The employees were prompt and friendly. Also – the Iced Cherry Chai is really good, if you haven’t tried it!

I believe it was the manager I think her apron said Bryanna was not very friendly when I was ordering and she was giving my kids nasty looks the whole time we were waiting for our drinks. I’m not usually one to leave bad reviews I have been to this location many times and never had issues but she made me feel awful for taking my kids in to get a nice treat.
