One of two restaurants in this not too busy gas station convenience store which is very spacious with a comfortable ambience.
Pulled pork sandwich, brisket, sausage, potato salad and cabbage slaw all exceeded expectations.

Any time I come to this area and I’m headed into brookshire I stop by this gas station, I have a great experience with the personnel. They are friendly, willing to talk beyond the basic hello, and down right welcoming. I love stopping by to get some some of this amazing BBQ that is hard to be matched in any way, shape, or form. They have daily specials, today is Thursday and I got the #6 with some fried okra and waffle fries alongside my brisket sandwich. I love coming to a place where I see NOT EVEN ONE FLY! Clean environment with a side of southern hospitality. My meal was less than $11!! You cant ask for more from a gas station honestly. Check out my pictures of this meal, then get your hungry self on down here to get some Dickey’s in you!!
Donny, Robert, Jenny! Awesome employees and great great service.

Location is closed and it shows up online as the location still being there. Just a heads up for thoes not from this side of town that the location has been closed for about a month according to man working at gas station. Love the food, but its a bummer that this spot is closed and theres nothing stating so online.

We ordered through a delivery service to feed 8 people. Delivery was fine, but the order has missing and wrong sides. We ordered Brisket, chicken and pulled pork. The pulled pork was good, the chicken okay, but the brisket, was cooked to death and not cut properly. It is best described as strips and chunks of dried beef. Zero moisture and most in long strips cut following the grain of the muscle. Lesson learned, won’t order again.
UPDATE: After emailing Dickeys as they requested, they responded with a generic apology email and blamed the local owner. To add insult to injury, they offered a free sandwich. We spent over $200 not including delivery, and they offered a sandwich. SMH

The service is higher than the taste of the food for sure…pulled pork is flavorless without bbq sauce…

Stopped here on our way back home. Been the one up north. Staff wasn’t very friendly. I ordered the brisket sandwich. It was dry and cold. Ordered the creamy spinach. It was awful. I think this is the worst bbq I’ve had.

I got to the restaurant @ 8:40. The customer service rep was a young Spanish boy with glasses. He refused to serve me and stated that they close @ 8:30. I stated the hours of operation states 9:00. He then proceeds to say he can’t help me and walks off to the restroom. I then went to my car and he walks back into the kitchen area and begins to clean. This is very bad customer service just bc he wants to get out versus to serving the public when the hours clearly stated they’re open until 9:00 o’clock. Very dissatisfied!
