The entrance is completely ADA accessible which i love, price is decent for Starbucks, and the food/drinks are almost always warm which is nice. My only complaint is the seating/tables aren’t accessible at all and cannot accommodate a power chair. As a disabled customer, this is always something that I think about and would love to see more companies consider.
Another small complaint, this Starbucks can become extremely crowded when busy so if you have claustrophobia, beware
starbucks staff have told us on numerous occasions not to go through drive thru if we are picking up more than 3+mobile orders, then 4+ mobile orders, then 1+ mobile order. Every time it is delivered (or about to be) without a drink tray. Which is a qualm in itself but the drink tray in general are of little support anyway.
I have great staff, and I believe that they should stand up for themselves and our patients when they deem fit, this is how I keep a strong staff that our patients trust. That being said, if it is not accepted to pick up multiple orders through the drive thru, then put it in the policy because otherwise, it is not OUR issue for you to find 2, 3, 4 orders for one car pick up. We will ask to speak to a Lead in the drive through if you want to bring up this concern at the order menu box outside of the store. You tell us a “policy”, we will want to get to the bottom of it right then and there – even if it means holding up the line.
This starbucks is placed where there are MULTIPLE if not dominated by medical facilities – your customer base I would assume is a lot of people in the middle of working in medical/fast paced environments among your self-employed entrepreneurs and day-off individuals wanting a cozy drink.
While I understand that starbucks holds a reputation of speed and efficiency with a unionized staff who should honestly be treated with upmost respect – making up policies and changing them DAILY is unprofessional, unacceptable, and ridiculous.
We all want ease and convenience – but would you rather have a crowded drive thru, or a crowded parking lot of customers inside waiting to pick up their own order with nowhere to sit, stand, and just loiter until they think they hear their name and get back into their car struggling in such a small parking lot to begin with?
Change this “policy” again and we will ask to speak to a Lead while in the drive thru. I hate to say it and I hate to complain but from one fast-paced working citizen to another – pick and choose your battles with these made up policies. The customer is always right – until a REAL policy is put in place.
