This is possibly in the top 5 Indian restaurants list for us based on our world travels.
It has full points for ambience, pricing, service, diversity in menu and most importantly the taste!
Their dal tadka is the best from a restaurant that I have ever had.
The Naan is fluffy and well cooked.
The paneer was outstanding in its quality and texture.
All the curries were perfectly balanced and had the right consistency.
If you are a weary traveller and need dal chawal this would be the best spot.
If you are a local or an adventurous traveler then this is also the best spot to try a little bit of everything!
We loved it so much that we had our dinner here for both nights in Glasgow.
Would recommend and would come back again!

We only had a few days in Glasgow on this trip and saw we were very close to this highly rated Indian restaurant. It was close to our place so we thought we would give it a try. It was busy but they seated us right away. The service was great, the food delicious and we enjoyed talking to the owner and staff. We order entrees the first time we went but found out they also have a tapas menu. Both times we had a fantastic meal. We really liked the tapas menu. Smaller portions that allow you to try more things on the menu. Now our favorite place to eat. Looking forward to going back next time we are in town.

We’ve been here before and the food is always really good. The quality and flavors definitely keep us coming back. However, this time the food took about 25 minutes to come out, which was a bit longer than expected. Overall still a good experience, but the wait time could be improved.

Amazing tasty food. Lovely staff. Place is clean and nicely decorated. Had the lunch menu and supplemented by a dish from the tapas menu. The paneer dopiaza was amazing. Will defo come back!

Busy for a Wednesday night which is a good sign. Located close to Queen Street Station and parking is available not too far away. Would recommend the fish dishes.

So testy food . I am highly recommend this place . If u are in Glasgow please must visit . I love food it was so so testy . I have orders Chandni Chowk ki chaat it was so testy and the curry I have ordered name is paneer lababdar such an authentic Indian test . I love it .

Went in here when I had stop over in Glasgow for work and was very, very pleasantly surprised! I went for the tapas menu so I could try a few things and three dishes and a bread was plenty (and I have a big appetite). Goan prawns, mutton rara and Bombay aloo all absolutely divine. Some of the best Indian food I’ve ever had. Can’t recommend it enough.

A month ago my mum and I had been to a history talk near by and as we were walking about deciding where to eat we were hit by the most gorgeous smell. It was 9pm on a Tuesday night and most tables were full, but we were greeted by a young man with a huge smile and showed us to a table.
They asked us if we’d been before (we hadn’t) and then explained how the tapas worked and how much to order etc.
We ordered drinks that came straight away even though they were busy. The whole place had a lovely buzz about it and the staff made us feel very welcome.
Before our food came they gave us a complimentary spicy tomato soup, I don’t think I’ve ever tasted anything as heavenly! It was so aromatic and creamy.
We ordered the honey chilli potatoes,
Butter chicken,
Dal makhni ,
Prawn goan style curry, a
Mushroom Rice and a
Garlic naan.
Everything was amazing, the potatoes were sweet and spicy and had a lovely texture. The butter chicken was one of the best we’ve ever had. It was our first time having Dahl makhni and it’s now a string favourite of ours. My favourite was the prawn goal style curry, the prawns were hugs and meaty and the sauce was creamy and the spices perfectly balanced. The rice and naan were also gorgeous and the portion sizes were great, maybe even a bit too much for just us but we weren’t complaining!
We even got a chat with the owner who is clearly passionate about creating authentic Indian food and he has done a great job creating somewhere as special as here.
After raving about it to anyone who’ll listen for weeks, we drove an hour to grab a takeaway and take it home to our wider family tonight.
Even though they were mobbed the staff were so attentive and bubbly, especially the young woman and the lovely new start.
The prawn goan wasn’t on the menu tonight but they happily swapped the haddock goan for me. We also got their chicken pakora tonight which was so light and crispy!
They even gave us a discount for ordering and taking away old school and not using an app.
Will happily come back again and can’t recommend it enough!
