Going through the holiday season is difficult when experiencing grief. My son worked at a Starbucks until his passing. He enjoyed the people and atmosphere. I stopped in for a pause and quick drink on a day full or errands. I was not expecting this kind gesture written on the side of my cup. Thank you, Starbucks baristas, for bringing a smile and friendly energy to your customers.

I am submitting this complaint regarding an incident that occurred during the release of the Bearista tumbler. I arrived at 3:00 AM and waited in line for two hours. However, once the doors opened, one of your employees had already set aside all the merchandise for herself. She was wearing the Starbucks uniform, clearly indicating she was staff, and had multiple items reserved before any customers were allowed access. I also have photos documenting the situation.

This behavior is unprofessional and unfair to customers who waited patiently. I ask that this issue be addressed and that appropriate actions be taken to prevent similar incidents in the future.

I ordered a cream brûlée iced coffee. Upon sitting down, I noticed the barista added $.30 extra for this. Say what? I went to the counter and the young girl with a nose ring and dark hair said, “Well, you paid for it,” over and over and over. I was trying to understand why I had to pay extra for some ice. I asked for the manager and she quipped, “I am the manager.” She was raising her voice so much so that her colleague John came over looking apologetic for his colleague’s behavior towards me and said, “She is out of line.” He was amazing and told me he was transferring to be a store manager at another Starbucks. He remade my coffee with much less ice and gifted me a $4.00 gift card. What an asset to your team. ***Not sure why you charge extra for ice although the original barista filled the plastic cup full of ice. If I had wanted a cup of ice I’d have ordered one. Next time, lighten up on the ice and reconsider not charging customers extra for ice. Also, your baristas ought to make it clear to customers there is an upcharge for ice. PS: I was there on 12/12/2025, drawer 1, register 1, 10:17 am. It’s my hope John has a lucrative career with Starbucks. He’s the kind of employee anyone would want on their team. By the way, we are moved back now to our home in Austin – in SA for five (5) months while our home was having a glow up. So, I won’t be seeing this store anymore. It’s my hope the young manager get anger management training, She is a disservice to your brand.

This location can be busy at different times of the day, especially during the weekday mornings when people are going to work. Using online ordering makes everything convenient. The staff will re-make incorrect drinks to make things right, as has been my experience as a customer there. Clean restrooms and a good environment. I like how the Starbucks baristas are responsive to me as a customer and they do a good job.

I’ve never been too impressed with any Starbucks. This one didn’t change my mind. It’s overpriced, half-decent coffee served by employees who don’t really want to be there.

I placed a mobile order to pick up in store because I tend to have a busy morning and it’s more efficient to walk in and have my drinks ready versus waiting in store for them to be made. I placed my order of 2 drinks at 7am and only one drink was ready. I asked about my second drink 2 times and spoke to the assistant manager named Jon. At this time it’s 7:18am and still no second drink. I was upset because walk ins were receiving their drinks before me. I asked again and he finally made it. It took hime about 20 seconds to make my drink. He made it in such a rush it tasted horrible. If I wanted bad coffee I would have gone to the corner store for coffee. I ordered a caramel macchiato with light ice and extra caramel drizzle, he put two scoops of ice and very little caramel and it seems like he didn’t put any vanilla syrup that’s is supposed to come with because it was bitter. After 20 minutes I could not wait for them to remake it. I have been having so many issues at this location and keep thinking to give it chance after chance but no improvement. I won’t be visiting this store again.

I can’t have dairy or caffeine so when I came to this location to meet someone, I ordered an iced hot chocolate with coconut milk and no whipped cream. I’m not sure if my drink order was just a one off and they weren’t used to because I was asked to clarify once by the one who took my order and twice by the one making it. He then made me feel dumb by stating it was a certain type of drink. When I got it, it had whipped cream. He seemed annoyed that he had to remake it because I said no to scrapping off the top.

I didn’t enjoy my experience at this Starbucks at Quarry. Personnel wasn’t attentive, messed up all beverages and over baked my sandwiches. All tables and seats were dirty, restrooms were simply filthy and dangerous to use (water puddles on the floor).

I – like many other customers make purchases @ several Starbucks locations. In fact I made a purchase at my neighbor Starbucks this very morning and several times this week as I’m also a rewards member. I ran in this afternoon to this location for an iced water, as I’ve gotten some in the past at other locations with no purchase necessary. The Manager at this location refused ice water, and stated I need to buy something or buy a bottled water. It’s extra hot and I was waiting on my daughter to get off work, so I just needed some water, small and iced preferably. She still refused. Not very friendly or professional. Normally it isn’t a big deal to do a review but I find it odd that some will gladly give you iced water and this was the first time that it was just rejected. Texas is HOT people, water will not hurt to give.
