At the store located at Texas Belt Line and Midway, I felt extremely uncomfortable because of a young male employee a Black man with short dreadlocks. He consistently does not respect customers and never makes eye contact.
Today, when I went to pick up my order, only 2 out of the 3 items were ready and one was missing. After waiting for a bit, I asked about it, and he told me there was no such order. Without asking anything further, he just continued doing his own work. I then asked the female employee next to him, and she checked my order and said they would remake it.
While I was waiting, that male employee suddenly noticed that one of my items had been sitting in front of him the whole time while he was making something else. He brought it over and placed it in front of me, then walked away without saying a single word of apology.
Honestly, he has never been pleasant whenever I come in, and once again today he made the experience uncomfortable. I had placed my order early on purpose while on my way to pick up my child from school, and I almost missed my child’s school bus because of this.
I am writing this because the experience was extremely unpleasant.
I honestly wonder why an employee like that is working at Starbucks.
Ordered ahead via the Starbucks app, and it was ready when I arrived 3 or 4 minutes later.
