We consider this Starbucks the last resort. They do a decent job but compared to the Starbucks at blue ridge crossing, this place usually has less flavor. More watery and icy. But clean area and fast service.

I love the 40 highway staff! They always provide outstanding customer service. I love the store as well, it’s very convenient. Four stars on the food only because some my favorite menu options are often discontinued and are sometimes seasonal. All in all one of the best SB locations in Kansas City! Let me tell ya this location was busy!! Drinks here there and everywhere..they somehow knew which was my 3 drinks and they were perfection.. pleasantly surprised at the efficiency of the employees.will most definitely return..staff was super friendly and didnt feel forced like another place up the road..a little pricey so its a once and a while reward for completing goals i set for myself..very clean facility aswell

Extremely weird people that expect a tip every time even for just a cup of coffee. The customer service is very awkward but more than that.It’s super slow.I have spent fifteen to twenty minutes every time i’ve came through this drive through. The good news is mcdonald’s is directly across the street.They have better coffee.If you like it black, they do not expect a tip and you can get it for under two dollars.I don’t see why people come here

If the staff can’t take your drive thru order immediately Starbucks is usually really good at informing customers that they will be right with them. This was not the case today at the Blue Ridge Crossing location. The line was long. When I reached the speaker my window was rolled down but no one said anything. There were several cars ahead of me but they were at a standstill. Eventually they started moving around the corner to where they were no longer visible. I said hello into the speaker several times but no one said anything. I sat for a while but no one said anything. I assumed the speaker was broke after waiting and no word from staff. I eventually moved forward because there were cars behind me . When I approached the window the Starbucks employee opened the window and said “your total is”. I told her that I did not place an order because I assumed the speaker was broke after waiting that long and no one answering back after I said hello several times . I pulled off. I called the store to complain and I suggested that they make some sort of announcement to all vehicles at the speaker even when they are extremely busy because I assumed it was broke after waiting . Her comment was “ We always tell the customers we will be with them”. Usually they do but this time they did not. Not sure if the people working the window are new employees. If so please make sure they are talking to approaching customers when it’s busy. I had to wait in the long line for everyone to get their order and I was not able place my order. I was not able get out of line due to the way their drive thru is designed. I received no apology from the lady at the drive thru window. Her reaction was a jaw drop.

They listen to my order.But the person making my drink was very rude and stingy. I specifically order extra caramel and paid for extra caramel. And I didn’t get it! I also told them I wanted my vanilla bean Frappuccino, extra caramel.. I also said I wanted the bottom of my cup covered with caramel. So currently looking for another location-
