I had a fantastic experience at Los Dos Amigos! The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and the service was friendly and attentive from start to finish.
I ordered a margarita, and it was absolutely perfect—served ice cold in a salted glass with a fresh lime wedge. It was refreshing and balanced, not overly sweet, just the right amount of tartness. Pairing it with their basket of warm chips and salsa made it even better.
The staff checked in often without being intrusive, and the food came out hot and fresh. Everything felt authentic, flavorful, and made with care.
Whether you’re stopping in for a quick drink or sitting down for a full meal, Los Dos Amigos is a great spot to relax and enjoy delicious Mexican food and drinks. Highly recommend if you’re in the area!

Fast and friendly service. There is seating inside as well as an outdoor patio. The free chips and salsa are welcomed. The salsa is much better than most Mexican restaurants. They also bring you free cheese sauce. The chips are OK but nothing overly special (they are corn chips). The food portions are huge. The prices are reasonable, particularly for the quantity of food you receive. The California burrito is as big as your face. Seriously! The house margaritas were better than expected (not as syrupy as many places). There were 2 for 1 margaritas on Tuesday night. The steak taco was excellent, although a little barren on toppings.

Stopped in for a late lunch. Service was slow, but our waitress was nice and we weren’t in a rush anyways. The chips and white sauce are excellent, I will stop again just for them. My enchiladas were very good.

A gem right off 52! The food is amazing, I live 50 min north but have yet to find a Mexican restaurant that compares to this one. Staff is always attentive and kind.

Los dos amigos is the best values in Rochester. You can get a 34oz icy mug beer for 5.50. not to mention chips with great salsa and an additional tangy cream sauce. Tons of great food options at well all of the Staples plus a bunch of great dinner options. I will definitely be coming back here as the food is great and the prices are awesome.

After a long day of traveling, Mexican food sounded amazing! Unfortunately, the portion/taste had a lot to be desired. 3 enchiladas smaller than a dollar bill . They had zero flavor. I wouldn’t recommend this restaurant.

Great atmosphere. Good food but the service was horrible. Waiter was clearly in a hurry never asked how things were, had to flag him down many times. Food was good though. Then we went to pay at the register and are ran over by some kid jumping up and down from behind the cashier’s stand. Hope it was an employees kid because if it was a patrons they have the worst parents in town. Then the 2 teenage cashier/hostesses are on their phones and got mad that we wanted to pay interrupting them. One turned to the other in a quiet, smug way called us dumb for paying with a credit card and wasting their time. (Yes I know a good amount of Spanish). I usually ignore small stuff but for some reason this place today was horrible. The 3 stars are for the atmosphere and low prices.

This place is an absolute joke. When you order a small guacamole with your meal dining in you get a nice size bowl for 4.50 but by golly don’t order a small one with your Togo order cause you get a out two Tablespoons of it for the same price…. And when ya bring it up they get mad at you for inquiring about it. Memo lesson learned. You get less for take out than you do for a dine in dinner for the same price
