Starbucks – Greenmount & I-64 (O’Fallon)

“This store is dedicated to people united by their courage to serve our country.”

This store is located near Scott Air Force Base, OFallon, IL. They offer limited edition military merchandise.

I stopped by here for few hours and I really appreciated the baristas and how much they kept a positive attitude, despite being short staffed and getting through crowd rush hour. I ordered some food and hot beverage and all tasted good.

This store supports military big time. Although, they’re small on the inside with limited seating, they show love in a much bigger way. They accommodated each customer and made sure they were comfortable and completely satisfied.

When I visited the Starbucks HQ in Washington, I met a friendly front desk lady who shared with me that her and her spouse were both in military.
She also shared with me, “Starbucks focuses on hiring thousands of military personnel to help them keep their jobs, should they or their spouse have to be transferred to another location.“

“No matter where they are transferred for military purposes, Starbucks has their baristas back. They offer smooth transition into a new store for them. Making new friends is a bonus.”

My order was made fresh, efficient and tasted great. I enjoyed my stay here, while on business. If you’re a military member, come by here and enjoy your stay.

Came in for bite on a long drive home. We stood at the register. Someone whose shift obviously ended said someone would be with us. After several minutes , we asked and was told they were short staffed. So we ordered on the app. Then our food and drinks came out quickly, except one sandwich. The first person we asked said it would be out soon. Then the second person we asked said they were out, so we asked for it to be replaced with a a bakery item. Meanwhile, about 10 people came in and they finally had someone at the register. Still no food. So my husband asked, told him they were the only warming. Then when they put it out, they threw it on the counter. Normally, my experience with Starbucks in general is very positive. While I understand they were short staffed, the attitude at the end was unacceptable. This person wore green hat.

Disappointed. I’ve worked at Starbucks for 7 years and this location was ridiculously slow. I waited 24 minutes in the drive thru. Once I received my drink, it was way too short and should not have been handed out. What is going on in there?

Disappointingly I have visited this location multiple times this holiday season and despite having a sign that says eggnog latte is back my orders are unable to be fulfilled. I waited in line for a significant period of time before being told that the egg nog was out, and the order ahead feature is disabled for this location which could have spared me a trip. Sadly missing out on trying this drink for an entire holiday season.

Stop begging your customers for tips. I went through the drive thru and the boy pushed the card reader in my face asking for tips. Here’s a tip. The drive thru person isn’t the one making my drink. Get some common sense and decency. No wonder they are laying off people and closing stores. Good riddance with your terrible business practices.

Good enough experience, but had a weird interaction with the manager when taking a photo outside.

Ordered a Black Tea that was good. The staff that helped friendly, the store was clean in the front. Men’s restroom dirty.

I probably would not return based on manager interaction.

Based off the image I assumed they meant military but they mean the workers coming together. So they don’t have military discount
The service here around 4-6 on Monday was not the best because one of the lady workers was obnoxious because she kept singing loudly for the whole time we were there ( 2 hours). I could hear her over my music.
The drinks were served at a reasonable rate.
The lady worker was also slightly rude to a non-rude customer. The customer asked a question and she immediately responded with “ I’m just the only one on bar right now so I said it’ll take a minute “ and he said “ I understand if you’re busy” and she said “ nope we’re not I’m just the only one on bar right now”. She also mentioned “ since im so perfect …” and “ I went out on Saturday night” it might’ve just been a joke but I think in a professional setting you should keep some things to yourself or at least speak quieter behind the bar. Maybe I don’t understand making small talk or keeping yourself occupied by talking about personal stuff. But I find it unprofessional to complain about irrelevant things that have nothing to do with work. There is a difference between being friendly and overstepping professional boundaries. The energy was off and it made me want to leave so I did. Her voice was projecting as if she was talking to me. She was speaking about her personal messages out loud. To me it’s a little ridiculous and I’ll try to avoid coming to this Starbucks for as long as possible. To top it off, no greeting upon entering. Obviously she was not being genuine but fake towards customers. I’d rather a toned down friendly attitude than an obnoxious passive aggressive exaggerative attitude. :/

Clear order in the drive through. Barista repeated back several questions and then delivered the incorrect product at a more expensive price. Window staff was unfriendly.
My order: “grande, hot, decaf with soy milk and 3 pumps sugar free vanilla”

Coffee was great but the service wasn’t positive, and the person taking our order in drive through had no energy when speaking, never have went through this at any kind of starbucks.

I would give zero stars if I could. Horrible service, horrible manager – unbelievably long wait time where all the cars behind us left! Will NEVER visit this location again! Go to another local coffee shop if you want to be treated with dignity and respect! Awful! Also, get rid of the manager on duty tonight 1/11l26
