This Starbucks is new here in town, and the aroma as you enter is divine! I came at an unbusy time and the service was great. My steamed milk was delicious, and though I didn’t order their tempting-but-pricey food this time around, I generally find it very good.

Stopped by for an after work treat for my wife and son. Was greeted by Landen and Alicia who were super pleasant and very polite. Took my order and they made the drinks / bagged my son’s cake pop I went to pay for it and the card machine wasn’t working. I patiently waited a few minutes to see if they could fix it. I offered to pay a different way unfortunately this way wouldn’t work either. Ended up getting free drinks and a cake pop I was hesitant to leave without paying but the staff said here’s a gift from us to you! Unfortunately we can’t get the card machine to work enjoy your treats! I left with a smile on my face what a nice gesture instead of holding up the line and refusing to take orders they were generous and kind. I will be back for more Chai Teas and Cake Pops!

Terrible service! With 4 employees and only 1 other customer, It took over 15 minutes to make 2 beverages. I ordered a cappuccino with mocha. It was not mixed! The mocha was a glob on the bottom of the cup. On the receipt, there was a tip option. WHY? This place is over rated, over priced, and I would never recommend it or return!

I ordered one drink in store, waited inside for my order for over 22 minutes. Took them over 15 minutes to even start making mine, then didn’t call out my name when it was ready. There were 3 or 4 customers inside, why would you not call out the orders when those are ready? By the time I checked myself, the cold foam in my drink was gone. Subpar experience and customer service.

My wife and I made our first (and last) visit to this location. Wasn’t very busy, and the banana bread and chocolate croissant only took a few minutes. HOWEVER, getting one iced latte took 20 minutes, and we had to inquire where it was. Apparently they had lost or misplaced that part of our order, even though the electronic board show it being made, available, and complete. We know the location is relatively new, based on other reviews received it may not be around long. Future business will be given to Dunkin.
Update: What a terrible response from the Owner. Going to the suggested website does nothing. Do the people of Mahomet a favor, close your doors and train your people.

Uber Adventure
Starbucks in Mahomet is still new so they’ll get a little grace from me. The service is a bit on the slower side compared to The typical Starbucks experience and the drink was nearly perfect but not quite there just yet. Here is to hoping the remain successful because it’s a good addition to the town
