loved the atmosphere, but I asked them to reheat my coffee (Americano), which I had already sipped a bit since I ordered a venti, and they denied it — why? I’ve visited Starbucks all over the world and have never been denied before.
And forget that — what happened to the policy below?

• Purchase: Buy any hot or iced brewed coffee or tea.
• Dine-In: Enjoy your first drink in the café, preferably in a ceramic mug, glass, or your personal reusable cup.
• Request: Ask a barista for a free refill of brewed coffee or tea during the same visit.
Key Details & Exclusions:
• Eligible drinks: Hot/iced brewed coffee, hot/iced brewed tea.
• Not eligible: Cold Brew, Nitro Cold Brew, iced tea lemonades, flavored teas, refreshers.
• Condiment bar: Includes milk, creamer, and sweeteners.

The location is cozy. My drink came out amazing, but the music was so loud it was difficult to hear. The staff were so lovely but they were struggling to hear me order and I struggled to hear them confirming my order because the music is entirely too loud. Please turn it down a few notches.

Only one suggestion (as a person who has worked in health care for years): the music volume needs to be turned down. It is at a deafening decibel. Especially bad with “girl moaning” songs like Billie Eilish, street beat sounds with drums pounding, auto-tune fake rap.

I never leave reviews but I love this store and I wanted to share some stuff about the manager named Mia because she is one of the best. I see her doing not only managing good and treating her employees with softness and understanding but also she is listening to the customers and making my day every day. She also does it all she is mopping or taking out the trash or making drinks and she goes above and beyond and she remembers things about me and my life and asks about my family. This is what every starbucks should be like she also writes on my cup with things like “Be kind to yourself” and stuff about my personal life like “Good luck on your interview” stuff that she remembers that I talked with her about in the past and you can tell she is a good person out of starbucks as well and these are the type of people who should be hired here and these are the type of people that deserve more credit so I hope she heard about this review and I hope she knows that the customers love her and she makes the experience at this location worth driving out of the way to go see her. This is the best location because of her

Unfortunately, I have to agree with others about the poor service at this location. I’ve consistently encountered rude and dismissive attitudes from the baristas. Logan in particular was especially unhelpful and rude when I asked a simple question about redeeming points, he replied with an annoying scowl: “just scan your code” and rushed me through the process without any courtesy.
I honestly can’t recall a single positive experience here, which says a lot. It feels like management doesn’t take feedback seriously since the same type of behavior keeps showing up. I’m sure there are a few good employees, but after three bad visits in a row, I’d recommend avoiding this location.

One of the nicest Starbucks around– unusually spacious, relaxing earth-tone decor, with a nice youthful vibe. The staff has been nothing but kind and gracious, even during the early morning coffee stampede, and I like that that they are unionized. But I must agree with other reviewers as to one point of criticism– they often put the background music on ear-pounding blast.

This Starbucks is next to Northwestern University and sits in the heart of downtown Evanston. It is a fairly large Starbucks with a large crew serving customers. I was there during a major rush and the staff performed professionally and quickly. The food is your standard Starbucks quality. Even in a rush I had no trouble finding a table.

This Starbucks store is very spacial, with a lot of places to work with a laptop are sit and talk. Only several tables outside (for the summer months). Employees are nice and the service is fast.
