The only good thing about this place is the decor. I love planes and they have a lot of them decorating the inside. First and foremost who doesn’t have pulled pork at a BBQ place in Texas? BBQ sauce is watery and not very flavorful. Pretty basic. Meats taste like they have been cooked and reheated which is kind of gross. Ribs are dry and overcooked. Brisket is decent but reminiscent of Dickeys I mean blind folded you could eat this food and tell no difference except n the wallet. Mac and cheese is mushy and watered down. Mashed potatoes I swear are instant and same with the gravy. If you are even an amateur at cooking these foods save yourself time and money and get them in the store and cook it yourself you literally can’t do any worse. Would have tried the cobbler but despite it saying it was included on the menu they said they’d have to charge and I had to stand on principal there. Would I come back? No not at all. Guy serving us was short and angry no welcome nothing. It’s a very unwelcoming eat and leave vibe that I don’t feel like I would shell out another $80 to eat. Every worker sitting on counters just watching their phones.

Excellent friendly service. The food was amazing, portions matched prices. Everything we ate had wonderful flavor.
The jalapeño cheddar sausage was really good. (We enjoyed all of it but that stood out today) Barely used any bbq sauce because the meat was so flavorful. Sweet tea tastes like good sweet Texas tea! Husband and I ordered the sampler plate and shared it and had we some leftover! I would definitely recommend this BBQ restaurant. We will be enjoying this place again and again.

We try to eat here at least once a week and we are never not happy! Food is always good and the employees are always very friendly! The owner always makes time to chat a little very nice guy! Today was even better the guy in the purple shirt (sorry don’t know his name) cutting the meat was superior! Very good customer service! See yall next week!

I don’t usualy review but wow. Ordered through doordash, food is the potatos are definitely instant potatoes, the brisket it decent and juicy but the ribs are dry, the cooked jalapeno looked boiled, and one would expect cornbread, or a roll, or anything besides white sandwich bread to come with a BBQ meal. The 2nd star is for the brisket alone. While I appreciate the sauce coming on the side it’s watery and lacking in flavor. Truly a 1st and last experience for me, I’ve had better at famous Dave’s.

Don’t be fooled by all of the smokers and cooking equipment outside of this place. It’s one of the poorest excuses for bbq I have ever had. The staff was great. The food was not good.
I got a 4 meat plate. it was a ton of food. I got brisket, sausage, turkey and pork ribs. For sides I got mac and cheese and beans. I’ll give it to them that the beans and the mac and cheese were good.
The brisket was basically just tougher pot roast. no flavor at all really.
The ribs were seasoned well but tough and just not very good.
The sausage was fine. Nothing special. Not smoked or even grilled…probably boiled which is fine but not for a bbq place.
The turkey weird. It wasn’t just turkey breast…it was like lunch meat but thicker sliced.
Overall this place was not worth it. It was a ton of not good food.

My first time there. I ordered the 4 meat plate. Brisket, turkey, sausage, and ribs. Being sceptical because I was told they were not good. But I was soooo impressed with the fact that it had flavor and you could taste the time they put into the food!!! I will definitely go again!!!!

We tried Jack Jordan’s for the first time for dinner. The staff is very friendly and it was some of the best service we have had in a while.
The food is good but not what I would call “the best”. Appears that they rely heavily on the BBQ sauce to give the food flavor. The ribs were better than the brisket as far as flavor. Their coleslaw is really good (similar to KFC…more sweet than vinegar which I like). The potato salad didn’t have much flavor and had a consistency more like mashed potatoes.
Their portions are very generous so you really get your monies worth.
It’s a place we all decided that we probably wouldn’t crave in our sleep but i we would go to again if we were in the area and/or invited to by friends.

Jack’s Sampler Plate!!! What were we doing all these years. We’ve missed it this whole time. They gave us enough food to eat twice and it was so worth it and affordable $23.19. We love coming to Jack Jordan’s because it’s fast and friendly service and delicious meats. They were even voted Best of the Basin in 2022.
