So I’m giving 5 stars because even with some little snafus they are always great.
And let’s talk about one particular guy who works there. I’m not trying to be mean, but… maybe a shower and ditching the handful of rings wouldn’t hurt? The whole look just screams “I don’t care,” and not in the cool, effortless way. He also has this habit of giving you a full-on stare down, followed by sarcastic jokes that, let’s be real, aren’t even remotely funny. If stand-up comedy is the dream, great! But maybe don’t test your material on caffeine-deprived strangers at 8 a.m.
To be fair, there are a couple of gems on the team—especially a lovely Black woman with curly hair who’s always kind, warm, and actually gets what “customer service” means. If the rest of the crew took notes from her, this place might start to feel like the Starbucks we all know, the one that’s supposed to “inspire and nurture the human spirit,” not stress it out and roast it with attitude.
People coming to work or sit are not welcomed. Drive up takes forever. And the attitude you get when you’re there to do some light work on the computer or phone is so unreal. If people don’t like to work there, go somewhere else. This one girl looked so miserable.
I sat there for about 15 minutes before miserable girl told me I had to order and before getting asked to purchase something per store/company policy.
I ended up purchasing something at the end but manager (man in glasses) rolled eyes when I was notified and didn’t move quick enough.
Other times I’ve been there, they raise the music up so high you can barely hear yourself think let alone hear anyone else talk.
They resell all the food. The only thing they make are the drinks and have of those are already premade.
At this point, we should look at supporting local coffee shops instead or continue to just make coffee at home.
People are wising up as to where to spend their money.
I know I will too.
