Just had friendly service for a quick egg nog latte. Great service! I have a complaint for corporate Starbucks that I’ll write here, but I want to emphasize this isn’t the store’s fault. The 5 stars are for this store/service only. It is not representative of my egg nog latte which gets 2 stars.
SB Headquarters: what is up with the unpleasant aftertaste of your egg nog latte? I love egg nog and espresso but won’t be having this one again. With clean ingredients neither the egg nog nor the espresso should be making it taste strange. I checked out the ingredients online. Sodium silicoaluminate as an anti-caking agent? Yuck. I buy my baking soda at a natural foods store to be aluminum free and here you go and put it in my egg nog. -20 pts. I’m never a fan of maltodextrin. Sometimes natural flavors are the problem but not always. There are too many “unclean” ingredients in this latte. I can make much better from home…which is what I’ll have to do from now on if you, SB, are going to be adding poor ingredients to your drinks. You used to do better. Don’t let an economic downturn ruin you. Simplify your offerings but keep things high quality. Just one drink with a poor aftertaste and undesirable ingredients and this customer will likely make my next ten or more coffees from home or go elsewhere. Poor ingredients and aftertaste is bad economically for you. Please reconsider.

I stopped here for a coffee drink and enjoyed it. I had the caramel crunch frappuccino, which was very sweet.
The location definitely seems like it is mainly for drive through or takeout business, and did not really have any character inside. There is seating, though, just nothing overly comfortable. I would definitely get coffee to go from here, though.

Mia took mine and my boyfriend’s order today and made the 2 Carmel ribbon crunches with extra Carmel and extra crunchy topping at about 12pm and she was beyond amazing! I have never had a barista be that enthusiastic and that polite as well as made our drinks look so pretty. She even double cupped our drinks so Carmel wouldn’t get on us. Keep up the amazing work Mia!

My drink was made incorrectly. Which is no big deal so I came back. I ordered a total of 4 pumps because I can’t have much sugar. It was double the pumps that I asked for and I know this because I get the same drink every time I come to Starbucks. It had so many pumps it was orange instead of a light brown like it usually is. I kindly went in and told them I think my order was made wrong and I hate being “that” person but I asked them if it was possible to remake my drink. They had attitude, didn’t look me in the eyes when speaking to me and made me really uncomfortable. Made comments on how it usually has a total of 8 pumps of syrup and maybe I had ordered it wrong online. I went through the drive through and specifically said only 3 pumps of vanilla and one pump pumpkin sauce. I paid over $9 to treat myself to a coffee and the service I received was inexcusable. Really disappointed in the staff this morning. Walked out feeling very uncomfortable and I don’t even want to drink my drink now because I feel like it was made out of spite. I would’ve even paid for a new one. Really ruined my mood and the way I look at Starbucks as a whole. Not coming back to this location again.

Oh my goodness! Went to this location today 10/6 at 12:50. The staff is all ridiculously helpful sweet friendly! Such a great experience. This location isn’t the closest to our house, but I will be going out of my way to come back here from now on.

First time I have a bad experience at Starbucks 85th and Minnesota. The barista Andrew was not welcoming at all, as I am getting cash to pay, he looked like he didn’t want to wait. I asked him to scan my stars and he said he couldn’t because I already paid. It is not my first time at Starbucks and he could done it but he chose not to.
