Came here on a whim to take my little girl to get a pink drink and a cake pop of course. When I placed our order the barista made sure to ask for HER name for the order and let her know it was a lovely name. This was also relayed on her cup.

I usually go out of my way to find a local coffee shop. The kind that sources beans from a single hillside in Guatemala and brews with water blessed by monks. But here in Champlin, options are limited. And this Starbucks, five minutes from my house, is absolutely doing the job.
The renovation? Dramatic. They didn’t just move the furniture around and call it a day. It feels ar least 30-40% bigger, with way more seating and a totally refreshed vibe. Comfy chairs. Tasteful finishes. Even the art feels like someone cared.
The staff is still upbeat and welcoming. The drinks are reliably great. And the playlist? Honestly, it slaps. It’s that perfect mix of contemporary, calming, and just energetic enough to keep you in the zone. Not a hint of lame ambient jazz.
And the Caribou across 169? Sorry, old friend. You’ve officially been outclassed. This spot feels modern, warm, and like an actual place to hang. Not a backup plan.

I have been a customer of this Starbucks since it opened. From the beginning, the service and speed of orders have been excellent as well as the cleanliness of the store, but what has stood out over the years and kept me coming back is the customer service, particularly one person: Liz. I never knew her before I started getting my coffee there, but right from the beginning, she learned my name, important facts, events, and people in my life. She has always cared. There have been tough mornings or days in my life, but Liz has always been extremely cheerful, happy, kind, funny, and polite, which has meant more to me than I could ever express. Her service has turned bad mornings and days around, and she’s such a hard worker. That is so rare these days when people can often do the bare minimum, be rude, crabby, or short. I can now call Liz a friend. Thank you for always caring, Liz. Thank you for doing an extraordinary job. Thank you for going well above and beyond. I’ve always noticed, and I’m always grateful to you. You’re an amazing person! Thank you to Starbucks for hiring such an incredible, hardworking, kind person! Kudos!

My order was entirely wrong. They made my drink iced when ordered hot. I ordered and paid online… When they remade my drink hot, they did not include the two extra shots that I paid for which I didn’t notice until after. I’ve left the drive-through because it was too hot to taste while I was there. My turkey bacon sandwich was cold and somewhat frozen in the middle. I also ordered it with a Sriracha packet that did not make it into the bag. The woman on the drive-through intercom was rude and the person who was handing drinks out at the drive-through seemed to have no idea what was happening.

My experience at this tobacco shop was extremely uncomfortable and raised serious concerns about how customers are treated. Instead of a professional retail environment, the atmosphere felt invasive and inappropriate, as though people were being watched, discussed, or singled out in ways that crossed basic boundaries.
Certain interactions gave the impression that private or personal details were being referenced or shared, which is completely unacceptable in any business. A store should be a neutral, safe place to make a purchase — not somewhere that leaves you feeling exposed or targeted.
The overall culture felt more focused on gossip, judgment, and inappropriate attention than on customer service, safety, or respect. That kind of environment can be especially harmful to people who are vulnerable or simply trying to go about their day without being harassed or scrutinized.
I left feeling uneasy and concerned about how this place operates. I would strongly caution anyone who values privacy, dignity, and a safe shopping experience to be careful about visiting this location.

As someone who works in retail too, I would never scold someone like I was scolded here. I used the mobile app to order an in store pickup as that is usually easier to avoid drive thru lines. Apparently the store decided to close their inside and the app still allowed me to order for in store pickup up. The person at drive thru scolded me saying “please try and order for drive thru pick up next time”. If you’re not going to allow for in store pick up, then fix the app, don’t scold me for something I couldn’t control. All I wanted was coffee before work after learning about the death of a family member. Get it together. I’ll go to caribou from now on.

I used to love this location, but I don’t like the remodel it’s very inconvenient. The drinks are good 9/10 times, depends who is working. Last night I had mobile ordered two drinks, and I asked my partner if he had clicked drive-through and he said yes. Got to the window and the lady working immediately started yelling at me for not clicking drive through. I tried to explain to her what happened, but she kept cutting me off and yelling over me. I used to go out of my way (10-25 mins) to come to this location. However because of the barista who yelled at me last night, I don’t think I will return. Maybe not to any locations.

I order a cup of Starbucks every day, but the staff here are very unfriendly. This is the first time I’ve encountered such employees at Starbucks. I don’t think I’ll come back here. The coffee they made for me doesn’t meet the brand standards that Starbucks should have at all. It’s like something you’d get from a street vendor, just throwing a bunch of ingredients together and mixing it up. It tastes awful.
The coffee should have caramel drizzled on the cup, but it doesn’t.

Rude drive through staff (except the one guy with glasses) and very inexperienced baristas . They will get your order wrong 9/10 times! Not sure how they mess up a 3 ingredient coffee but they manage to almost every time ! Waste of money to have your coffee served wrong and with an attitude . PS Cold Foam is SUPPOSED to go on top not mixed in with the drink !!!
