The coffee is.. the coffee. I wouldn’t drink the basic/drip coffee, especially black. No matter the type. The other options are many. Unfortunately, there isn’t much for vegans or those who are sugar free.
There isn’t but ONE VEGAN option in food and it’s way overpriced. I mean..get it together. It’s 2025 and Starbucks is all over the world.

The atmosphere and service at this location, so far, has been the friendliest and best. It’s large inside and has plenty of room.

The drive through area/ parking lot is like the wild west a bit but it’s easy once you’ve been there.

Check out out. And TIP THEM!!

Asked for strawberry marcha strato Frappuccino, this obviously looks like shit. Ive gotten this drink so many times and always looks different but this time it even tastes like coffee. Looks like they messed up and just mixed it up with matcha. Waste of $8.

One of the most beautiful Starbucks in Valparaiso. The interior is so up to date and has lots of comfort spots to relax as well as work. The baristas are extremely polite and there is an instant feel of relaxation and creativity in the air. Located at a higher altitude by the surrounding markets, it has a good view of the area.

Employees really helped me figure out the drinks were wanted. Friendly, professional and hit my order right. It was quick and the cold drink really cold and the hot drink really hot! Tasted great, glad I took his advice!

I love this location. The are very business accommodating and they have a large table in the middle of the sitting area for large parties. I ordered a chocolate croissant and as usual it was all the flaky chocolate butter flavor you would expect from it. I did try a new drink on this day (glad I did) which the barrista helped me pick. Great meeting spot!

I hate to say this but I go to Starbucks pretty much every day and I order the same thing every time. This time I knew immediately that it was too light and I said something about there being too much cream in there. The cashier just looked at me and said okay…. The line took 10 minutes just to get through the payment app wasn’t working so I couldn’t redeem my stars. Just an overall bad experience I don’t pay $7 to drink sweet cream. I had to go to the gas station just to buy a black cold brew in order to make it even drinkable

What the heck? Second time in a week they only filled my cup part of the way. Among other things. But that’s twice now they just dumped the wrong size into a venti cup. This is a hot chocolate by the way. They didn’t need to leave room for anything. Lame.

Dear Starbucks Customer Support,

I’m writing to formally report an incident that occurred on July 11, 2025, at approximately 8:33 AM, involving a Shift Lead named Becca at one of your locations.

While traveling from Las Vegas to my hometown by way of Chicago, my family and I stopped in for food and drinks. I had just gotten off a flight, was extremely tired, and simply wanted to grab something quickly and be on my way. However, upon attempting to enter the store with our service dog, Becca stopped us and refused entry, stating the dog was not allowed inside.

Rather than escalate the situation, I calmly returned the dog to our vehicle and re-entered to complete my purchase. After placing my order, I politely asked another team member named Ted about the policy, noting that in Las Vegas, service dogs are typically allowed inside without issue. He explained that Starbucks has a universal policy, which I appreciated hearing in a respectful tone.

However, Becca then interjected loudly, yelling, “IT’S ALSO A FOOD SAFETY CONCERN!” I calmly told her I wasn’t speaking to her, but I must emphasize—this experience was extremely upsetting and deeply concerning.

Denying access to a legally protected service animal is not only a poor reflection on your store’s training but potentially a violation of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). I sincerely hope this matter is addressed internally with your team, and that additional training is provided to ensure all customers are treated with dignity and respect.

I am happy to provide more details if needed.

I went inside the coffee shop for the first time and I thought it would have a little nicer of an atmosphere and more tables.Dessert choices weren’t that eye popping either.I would say an overrated coffee shop.
