My wife and I visit this Starbucks about once a month when we are visiting from Atlanta. We order a breakfast sandwich and a drink, sit in the lobby to read the news on the iPad and expect to enjoy a quiet breakfast. That simple expectation has proven unrealistic at this location.
Nearly every visit follows the same script. We place our order, receive our coffee and sandwich, sit down—and then, minutes later, I’m told the lobby is closing. Sometimes it’s “staffing shortages.” Other times it’s an employee who is suddenly ill. On one occasion we were told someone was vomiting in the bathroom. The explanations vary, but the result is always the same—-customers who have already paid are asked to leave.
This is not an isolated incident. Out of my last ten visits, my wife and I have been asked to leave seven times. That’s not bad luck. That’s a pattern.
On our most recent visit, I declined to leave immediately. We had paid for our food, had just sat down, and simply wanted to finish our sandwiches. The employee who approached us—a young woman with short blonde hair—was openly rude and dismissive. When I said I intended to contact management, she replied curtly, “Great. Maybe you can solve the staffing problem.” She then locked the door.
Let that sink in. Paying customers, already served, were effectively shut out mid-meal.
Starbucks has built its brand on the idea of a “third place” somewhere between home and work where people are welcome to sit, read, and enjoy what they purchased. Even the homeless were welcome to loiter and use the bathrooms without a purchase until recently. This location has abandoned that premise entirely. What’s offered instead is a transactional drive-through mentality paired with a hostile in-store experience.
I’m a business owner and I understand staffing challenges are real and illness happens. But when operational failure becomes routine and is handled with sarcasm rather than accountability, the problem is no longer staffing—it’s management. Customers should not be treated as inconveniences for expecting the most basic element of a good experience: to finish what they paid for.
Until ownership or management addresses this recurring dysfunction, I would strongly advise avoiding this Starbucks altogether. If negative stars were an option, I would use them. What should be a simple, pleasant stop for coffee has become a consistently miserable experience, delivered by employees who appear just as unhappy as the customers they rush out the door.

Came by here with my daughter so we could hang out get a coffee and read a book. The in-store stuff is closed. Got to drop this review as that’s not great service.
Super friendly staff. Super nice location. They have great seats and a good atmosphere just to hang out do a little bit of work, visit with friends, read a book, etc. Being brand new it’s exceptionally clean and well maintained. Hope they keep it that way. Recommend you come by and try it out. Our drinks were ready super fast and everybody was very helpful.

First off just wanna state that I come here so often, I live right behind the Starbucks so it’s one of the stores that I visit more frequently, I placed a mobile order for my drink and I arrived three maybe four minutes after I placed it and I was met with an attitude, I kindly greeted the person at the window, And when I Gave them my name, They responded with an attitude that my drink wasn’t ready in that I should wait longer before coming into the drive-through since I placed a mobile order.. My thing is what’s the difference if I was to place the order at the window or mobile order you still have to wait to make the drink… I do apologize for not waiting, but I didn’t know that you absolutely had to.. I like to place the mobile order when I get closer to the restaurant.
And even if I placed the order, Further down the line, later in time, Supposedly the drinks are not started until you get there..
I don’t see what the issue was.
I come there for my pick me up drink, not to be met with nasty attitude employees.
They also have worked in the restaurant business my entire life over 10 years now I understand how frustrating customers can be…
I’m not one to rush, be rude, any of it.
So the attitude unprovoked is unnecessary..
This is something that’s common for this store.
This is not the first time I’ve had this type of experience that’s why I’m leaving the review..
Hopefully this can change, But regardless of their nasty attitudes, I’m still coming to get my drink because that’s what I paid for.

They’re really putting an effort into improving their rating. Staff will quickly learn your name and what your favorite orders are. They’re fast and very polite. I haven’t had any issues in months.

I ordered two drinks with mobile drive through pick up and was immediately met with attitude. Apparently it’s so inconvenient to place an order and show up a few minutes early. When I finally got my drinks, the woman working the window muttered a snarky remark under her breath and slammed the window shut. I understand people have bad days but it’s just rude when I was nothing but polite to her since the beginning. I didn’t catch her name because she ran away after her snarky remark but she was blonde. The drinks were great, the attitude was not.

So I got the Matcha and it was way off. I did not like it. I tried to return it and get a different drink and the first guy told me it was no charge. Then the manager asked what’s wrong with it. He replies she did not like it. She would like a different drink, so she proceeded to be rude about it and told me I had to pay for a whole new drink that I can’t just come and replace it. When I worked in food, the customer was always right and I am not the type to come up to someone saying I do not like it so I basically paid $13 for one grande. I was already late for work, went through the drive-through and had to go back in, I’m the sweetest person ever so I had nothing bad to say and of course I paid for another drink. But now I’m kind of mad because I see other people Have been talked down to here and their drinks were made wrong. For a drink that Expensive nothing should be made wrong.

Really frustrated. We have gone for many years to Starbucks and get the same things every time – 5-6 times a week. My wife went through the drive thru today and ordered our drinks with whip cream blended in like we do every time.. the barista told her she wasn’t “allowed” to blend the whip cream in and told us she wouldn’t do that. We left and went to our normal Starbucks and they did it. This location always has a poor attitude towards customers and now apparently they’re unable to customize drinks. I’d go to any other location before going to this one – the one on the parkway next to Whataburger is SO great and gets it right nearly every time!

Stopped by the Cameron Rd Starbucks for a tall caramel ribbon crunch and a tall white chocolate mocha Frappuccino. At least 75% of the caramel ribbon crunch was whipped cream, the rest was a little flavor with something frozen in the bottom. The cup was very small and the lid wasn’t the normal bubbled lid; no place for the straw. This is not a drink you sip from the cup. The same with the white chocolate mocha Frappuccino. I feel like the cups were for a cold drink or a tea. Not worth what I paid at all.

They can’t keep the dining room open. I used the Starbucks app to place an order for pick up inside, but I couldn’t pick it up inside because at 3:45 on a Monday, they can’t staff the store enough to keep the doors unlocked.

I believe this location is having staffing/management issues. There’s been several times that this location wasn’t opened on time or just closed altogether during business hours for whatever reason. You never know if they’re going to have what you want in stock. This location seems to be struggling.
