Edit: waited 10+ minutes for a simple iced pumpkin cream chai. My chai syrup wasn’t even halfway stirred and there was a piece of black hair on the side of my cup! that’s nasty! Please clean the counters!
Also, the bathrooms and drive thru closed down while I was here. This is a new Starbucks… how isn’t the bathroom in service?
I was extremely disappointed in my experience today. I will not be back.
Meanwhile, they still ask for a tip. For what, I’m not entirely sure — maybe emotional support for the food that has to fend for itself?
The food itself? Pre-cooked and reheated. The only thing made fresh here is the coffee, and possibly the disappointment.
I guess this is what customer service looks like in the age of technology — efficient, silent, and just a touch insensitive. Whatever happened to the simple joy of someone saying, “Your food is ready,” or even “Enjoy your meal”?
Dine-in feels more like “figure it out.”
young lady named Jade this morning at our new local Starbucks. She was phenomenal. The car in front of me must’ve dipped out on their order before it was my turn so the orders got a little messed up, but she did great at handling it! Kept a smile on her face was very positive full of energy that kinda just feeds off to you .Hands-down the best barista I’ve ever had and I’ve been going to Starbucks for For years!!!
Now to this store with that back story. I mobile ordered my drink at 4:18 PM and it said 6-8 mins it will be ready. Of course, I don’t go by that time. I made it to the store by 4:22 PM, used the bathroom and waited. Btw, I didn’t even get hi or hello and while I was waiting at the Mobile counter, didn’t even get recognized or acknowledged. They have fancy screen that displays the process of orders and mine was done. I did noticed a grande cup by the frenemy machine but didn’t think it was mine as it was just sitting there. By 4:32 PM, I asked about my drink and the barista just asked what it was so she can make it for me. I thanked her, thought nothing of it and left the store. As soon as I took a sip, it tasted of hot water with milk and sugar *sigh*. I go back in and that’s when I noticed my original order on the counter now. I took a sip of that and it was also a COLD, watered milk with sugar. I told the barista that there is no coffee and that it’s just water and that’s when another barista told her that the machine was broken. So, you let her serve me water? Ok. And you were responsible for my drink? Ok. And none of you helped or acknowledged me to begin with? Ok. I left at 4:46 PM with a grande latte (grateful) for a drink I waited nearly 30 mins for while 6 other patrons walked in, ordered, and got each their venti iced 2/3 steamed, soy milk, twice shakened, 1/4 ice cube removed, flip and reversed whip cream, macchiato frap with a toasted pastry. Oh! And a full drivethru. Ok.
