I am a frequent Starbucks customer, multiple times a week at not only this location but the location down US1 in Pinecrest. I realized that it was at the wrong location, upon my arrival this morning. According to their “make it right” “just say yes” policy, they were supposed to remake it for me. But no instead the barista Anthony took it upon himself not only to make the customer have a bad taste in their mouth, never want to return to this location, and ruin my day. And yet, I am the one being affected, this is totally disgusting and awful. Mind you this is one of multiple bad experiences lately at this location. Go to another location or try another coffee shop, because don’t support one that is nothing but horrible and the staff is rude.

Generally not a terrible experience, but baristas at this location are always more ornery than Starbucks baristas at other locations. They don’t create a welcoming atmosphere. For example, as I sit in the store writing this review, they’re placing all of the chairs on top of the tables 2 full hours before they close at 8:30 PM. The staff is more worried about going home right at the official closing time instead of providing good customer service two full hours prior to closing.

I ordered a Grande iced chai latte with oat milk and a shot of espresso for my daughter. I picked it up and went home. My daughter said they only put milk in it, nothing else so she had to throw it away, didn’t go back because she was leaving for college

Got to your starbucks at 5:03 am in the drive-thru came out at 5:23 am. I personally don’t think Starbucks should be extracting their waste water on business hours. While waiting for my order I had to wait 15 minutes behind the waste water truck. When I got my order I was at the point of almost vomiting. Staff forgot about me for about 5 extra minutes only reason they remembered was because another car had gotten in the drive-thru. Only reason I’m not posting a 1 star is because staff was politely enough to not charge after going through all that mess. But who wants to drink starbucks after inhaling waste water smell for 15 minutes straight.

This Starbucks location is a ‘hit or miss’ with customer service and correct food/beverage orders. Although I live close and frequented this location, I stopped going here almost a year ago because I doubt the owner has made positive changes by terminating employees who have no business working there. Albeit mornings were normally filled with very friendly and efficient staff (no drama); Night shifts were a different story. So depending on which night shift was working, you didn’t know what to expect in the drive thru; I dreaded nights when an awful drive thru employee with black hair and glasses (resembling the Ugly Betty actress) and her sidekick barista male with curly brown hair who messed up numerous orders, were working. Both employees lacked customer service skills and worked at this location for too long without training, and in need of an attitude makeover; They played around too much making fun of or complaining about customers in front of other customers- never smiled or greeted anyone- handed drinks out drive thru window while deliberately looking away and talking amongst each other. Zero management. The last time I visited this location was when I had enough and never returned; The black-haired girl with glasses deliberately did not respond on the intercom for 4-minutes on a slow night. I thought they closed early until I drove up to the window and saw her waiting for me to stop.
I proceeded to order when she abruptly cut me off to say I must drive back around the building and order at the intercom. By the way, there were no cars behind me and she had nothing else to do. I told her I waited four minutes, honked the horn, waited but she never responded. Then the curly haired male (her buddy) lectured me on how I frequent this location and should know by now that ordering is done at the intercom. They were obviously playing around. Luckily there are other Starbucks with drive thru a few miles north although I preferred this convenient location. As a paying customer, I will not tolerate being served by employees who bully customers.

I was blown away by the customer service I received at this location as soon as I walked through those two doors pictured above – it stopped me right in my tracks. My drink was brought to me promptly with a smile, and I was even offered a cold water. Overall, this experience exceeded my expectations… I will be coming back.
