I can’t say enough good stuff about this restaurant, had a small party there today for my clients, I had been here before and was impressed! I was hoping for the same welcoming sweet waitress and to my surprise she was there! My party was wonderful each person felt as if Karen was taking only their order, EVERYTHING WAS RIGHT! Everything was GOOD! Even the atmosphere was so special for Christmas I was even more impressed than before!

The reviews speak for themselves. If you would like to pay $110 for three people to eat mediocre soul food, this is your place! We did the all you could eat Soulfood buffet. I tried the meatloaf, fried chicken, catfish, baked chicken, mac and cheese mashed potatoes, peas, potato salad, and a bunch of other things they had to offer. The only thing that was edible was the dressing, mashed potatoes, and baked chicken. Even then, it was OK but it’s nothing memorable Everything else I put a napkin over and I let the nice waitress take it away. You would be better to go to Church’s chicken and pay $25 for a bucket combo for family. I’m not sure how a place can make fried chicken not taste like anything, but they figured it out!

Came to the area on other business. Was hungry and scrolled through the list of restaurants in the area. Quite optimistic upon pulling into the parking lot. Immediately greeted when we walked in the door and taken to our table. Prices seemed a little steep, but ordered anyway, and to my surprise, the food was as good as my Grandma used to make. Portions were plentiful and the cornbread was like cotton candy, it literally melted in my mouth. Greens were delicious, catfish tasty, black- eyed peas scrumptious. Well worth the price, like the saying that you get what you pay for. Service exceptional, pricey but worth every bite. Definitely returning when in the area.

We went close to closing and the owner and staff was very courtesy and didn’t have a problem with us dining in. They didn’t rush us.

Great quality of food and excellent service. The food is soft and melts in your mouth not rushed and good taste. Good place to take the family when you don’t feel like cooking the entire meal yourself.

The food was hot and delicious. They had new servers in training. They are having little issue understanding our language but with time that will get better. So be patient with the new servers. Homemade strawberry lemonade was only pink no taste or signs of strawberry. The cake was a little dry I needed something to go with it – I had to pay extra for ice cream – that did help with the dry cake. I will go back to try the breakfast or brunch.

Forgot to add the rib tip with mac& cheese plate i spent well over $60 on food that wasn’t fit to give to my dog as you can see food wasn’t even touch tips like rocks pork steak hard as wood yams loaded with to much ginger speg. Was burnt my wife said if you looking for koolaid or roll this the place only thing that we could eat was the roll and drink the koolaid if i could rate a zero (0) i would worst food I’ve ever eaten i would like my money back i was the uber eats delivery last night at the hotel on jennings station rd even the trash can got mad at me when i tossed it in just plain sad
