I love dogs but they definitely shouldn’t be unleashed and up drooling on the food counter. Absolutely disgusting and definitely a health code violation I’m guessing as this is clearly not a service dog. Some people are allergic and others are afraid of dogs. Feeding your dog and watching it slobber all over the floor is inappropriate. Starbucks should not let animals inside. Note the photos of it licking food off the floor and owner leaving slobber all over.

I went into this store early this afternoon to buy three beverages. As always, the menu is quite diverse and offered a great variety of beverages, both hot and cold. Also, as always, the barista/servers were very helpful, friendly, and professional. What made this particular visit stand out, however, was a young man named AARON. I saw him bringing supplies from the back of the store to the serving area and then go to other parts of the store where he meticulously wiped down and cleaned all the services where people’s food and cups might touch. I was quite impressed with his efforts. As a retired Judge, most of the young men that I had seen of AARON’s age were in court because they were either hurting someone, stealing from someone, or doing drugs. In this case, I saw a young man working during the holidays, making the restaurant comfortable for others. I went over to him and asked his name and told him how much I respected what he was doing. His conduct in the store was so different than the conduct that I was used to seeing exhibited by young men who appeared before me in court. In my opinion, AARON is a definite asset to this store.

I have to say this Starbucks is far my favorite because of all the good staff. I love how Taylor greats me by first name every time I come in and she is always smiling like she is happy to see me. Jack is also amazing with his calm friendly nature extremely helpful he is a man with a big heart. Also Ricky is always friendly and happy. What a team I always look forward to going there every day. Thank you Team keep up the good work.

The barista stopped us from going in at 4:23pm because they were “closed.” Cute way to announce you’re on break. Funny, their hours state they’re open until 9.

Since I had over two hours to wait until my early evening Amtrak train from the Winter Park Station to Washington, D.C., I asked a stranger where the nearest cafe was located. He kindly suggested several bars and casually mentioned that a Starbucks was two blocks down the road on Park Avenue.
After entering I ordered my coffee and decided to sit outside where there are seven tables. It was a bit noisy inside and I did not find it appealing, and it seemed almost like a “Happy Hour” in some bar rather than a cafe.
The coffee was OK and the WiFi worked well, so I would not hesitate to return to this particular Starbucks. Winter Park is one of my favorite places in the Orlando, Florida area and the location is ideally close to the Amtrak Train Station.
