The vibe is calm and comfortable, with a clean and well-kept space that feels welcoming. My drink was made just right, and everything from the layout to the lighting made it a pleasant visit. Definitely one of the more peaceful Starbucks locations I’ve been to. 5 stars for the chill experience!
The customer service is terrible. The baristas are rude, unhelpful, and dismissive. I asked Kiera to refill the oil in the machine after bringing three drinks. She initially gave me the oil but didn’t fill it, and when she finally did, the interaction became tense and rude.
I also watched staff mistreat a homeless person. One of the employees involved was Kiera, and the other didn’t have a visible name tag. While asking for information from corporate, a manager told an employee to walk away simply for asking a question. I even took pictures to document the situation.
Overall, the service is horrible, the baristas are rude, and the store is dirty, unsafe, and completely unprofessional. Avoid this location if you value cleanliness, safety, and polite service.
Kiera has a horrible attitude!
There is a nice outdoor seating area with an interesting piece of history; An old brick chimney from a nearby farmhouse stands in the middle of the outdoor seating area as a reminder that this area was once farmland. A Bronze plaque tells the story of the chimney. The plaque reads:
This chimney was once part of a tenant house owned by
Stephen Spruill (born 1870), who owned over one
thousand acres of land in DeKalb and Fulton County.
The tenant house, circa 1900, was located just south
of here, close to where I-285 is located today.
In the 1960’s the house burned, but the chimney
remained until it was preserved and moved to this spot.
The chimney remains as a reminder that this land was
once the home of farms, pastures, tenant houses,
and pioneer families.
My first visit to this Starbucks was midmorning on a Saturday. My second visit was Sunday at 8:30am and I was disappointed to find only the drive through open. There was no indiction as to why the store was closed.
