The person said he wasn’t aware of their screen being down and said he had an order actually coming in now. So he then asked me to pull around and re-order. I asked him if it was possible if I could just place my order at the window and pull forward since there was a line, and it has only continued to accumulate even more. He asked his manager and the manager said no, and then came to the window and said I didnt wait long enough and there was no error. I waited over 30 seconds with complete silence after that I said “hello” to have no response even longer. That’s when I pulled forward fully thinking it was a known problem.
Definitely think a little more could have been done then asking me to pull around to wait in a long line I already waited in when they got the car ahead of me order wrong. Not to mention the manager (whoever was working Oct 21st at around 1:40) I think her name was Ashley maybe? Was super rude and condescending, implying I made up that there was an error message. What exactly would I stand to gain to make that up for?
This will definitely be my last time visiting this Starbucks. This isn’t even the first time I have had issues with this one in particular, they’re often out of things and have gotten my order wrong in the past and obviously even today with the car that was ahead of me. Sigh. Would definitely suggest a revamp of management. Most Starbucks are super nice to their customers. :
I was prepared to leave a $50 holiday tip for the entire crew, but because of her behavior and horrific lack of a sense of humor; I elected to give the entire amount to Rick. He went above and beyond to prepare the drink perfectly and salvaged what would have been a bridge-burning experience. I could have potentially fired back with some childish comment about her weight or horrible hairstyle but elected to reserve any retaliation due to maturity. While I may still want to visit for Rick’s service, Sarah’s attitude is a major deterrent for me. I will now need to consider the new establishment across the street and hopes that they treat their customers a little bit better even if their jokes are corny or sound a little stupid. I’m a goofy guy and there’s no way she can misconstrue that I was kidding for flirting or trying to be creepy in any way shape or form. Young, pudgy, and self-absorbed is not my type. Thank again Rick! By the way, I’m not hitting on you either sir. lol
