They were having a big meeting for Starbucks staff so they closed early. My usual visit goes from around noon until 9pm. I have a small business and I’m a grad student in counseling, so I have a lot of work to do online. Both managers were so kind because my debit card was nearly empty, so I could only buy a small coffee. When they realized I had no money left, they gave me my favorite Coffee Frappacino with coconut milk! Free is always more delicious because it is made with extra love. This is not an unusual story for me. The staff are always friendly, smiling, glad to see me, and happy to help, especially, since I have dietary restrictions. This is now my favorite Starbucks, and I’ve lived in California, Nevada, Ohio, Florida, and now South Carolina. Plus, I’ve traveled from coast to coast, both north and south. I’m your new cheerleader. Thanks for making my visits special and warm, just like your coffee. Paul Falstad

i order ahead on the app. order is NEVER ready when it says it will be; my drink is never consistent, like i get extra shots and extra pumps of syrup. mostly the drink is not what i ordered. most of the time i will go way out of my way to the harris teeter location because they do a much better job. My drink is an $11 drink, so expect that i get what i ordered and for it to taste good. Beaufort, sc boundary street location

You are better ordering and picking it up through the drive-thru. Store pick up wait times are insane. My drink was ready 20 minutes after the time the app said it took to be ready. By that time, the food item was cold. I just don’t understand how they take long when I go to busiest Starbucks in Savannah and they take less than 5 mins to have my order ready.

I usually love coming to Starbucks but this location has gotten increasingly worse with the wait times. Technically I don’t have a problem with waiting, but in addition to the now longer wait times the staff is incredibly rude. I am not speaking about the older woman who usually hands out the drinks at the window, I am speaking about the younger people who work the drive thru intercom. Today I had an interaction with a young lady who was incredibly rude and has me rethinking if i will ever go to this location again. I would rather go over to Ladys Island and go into the Harris Teeter location then support a location who doesn’t seem to care about the quality of workers they are hiring.
Whoever was working the intercom today at 11:58 (Dec 11) needs to be addressed by her supervisor.

Welcome… Love… This Starbucks grabbed me with its spirit… all employees were polite and attentive, focused on service. For my drink momentarily, it was right and tasty. That last part is important because (if you haven’t been to Starbucks lately) their drinks’ prices have gone up. I liked this location’ goal and appears everyone has bought into it. A truly enjoyable experience!

Customer service among some of the window staff leaves much to be desired. Ordered a mobile order drink today on ice and when I went through the drive thru the staff at the window was told I had ordered it hot and she “didn’t want to remake it.” No biggie, I was tired thought maybe I had ordered it wrong and asked if she could just put it on ice for me or give me a cup of ice. She refused. So I left – but when I got 30 min down the road to my destination I looked at my receipt and the cup itself and I had indeed ordered it iced and a larger sized drink than what was given with extra additives.
It could have been a similar name mix up (Susan is common) but I was more upset by the dismissal and the attitude/eye rolls than anything else.

Im loving that the cashiers have cameras on them now but there’s no absolute way that I would want to continue to come to a place where the cashier is rolling her eyes because I have a special order and let me add I had to repeat my order twice because she was too busy chitter chattering with her colleagues… customer service with a smile and RESPECT is definitely still a thing in 2025

They allow a homeless man to basically live at their location even though he harasses patrons. I won’t be going there again or I’ll go around the drive through.
